Yes, there are huge changes and developments in the works that are set to release VERY soon. As part of the larger multi-part plan for this project, a closely-affiliated and complementary masternode coin is under development to be released VERY soon. Initially, it will be available via a "Swap and Burn" The details are still being worked out, given the volatility in the marketplace, but here's a TENTATIVE summary: You may -optionally- swap your XGOX for the new affiliated coin (name TBD). Any XGOX swapped will be burned. The swap-rate is still TBD, but they have estimated it will be 1400 XGOX per one "NewCoin" The amount of "NewCoin" to run a masternode is still TBD as well. But is estimated at 2600 "NewCoin" per masternode. The amount required will be determined based on the value of Bitcoin when this is out of testing and finalized for distribution. The "NewCoin" will be more for storage and transfer purposes, as well as back-channel integration and development in the gaming industry. XGOX will remain the token to be actually used on gaming platforms for betting, etc. Keep in mind, this is all still in the works so don't read too much into the specific numbers above. All - I think we should try to focus on using only this official XGOX thread for discussion. Just to make sure none of the conversation gets lost, I'm quoting over from another side-thread that got started the other day (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3196459.msg33228463#msg33228463):hey guys. my first post on bitcointalk. I'm one of this rockies that december wave have bring to the crypto market and i'm still learning.  Almost from the day 1 i have been following the xgox project (i have enter under 100sat) and occasional and every month i make a small investment on it for stalking. They have a huge community, they are responsive on the discord channel, they have functional casino games like blackjack and integrations with well know poker/bet websites like 1xbet. The coin have a huge supply 2B+ but they are planning a new masternode coin only buyable with xgox (announced only on discord) in order to perform a estimaded 75% coin burn. So my question and my doubpts araise when I try to find more info there on bitcointalk and on internet on general and i don't find any relevant information about the project. Thread talks are small and i know that the project have already some years (previouslybranded as goku coin)  Can you please guys give me some of your opinions? it's xgox a hidden gem or not? i'm being a rockie missing something obvious???  Many thanks If I remembered it correctly, I was able to buy this coin (or the Goku coin) last year and made some profit out of it during its high POS return rate. But, when I see that inflation is starting to kick in, I literally jumped out of the ship and take whatever profit that I could take from it. That's the usual thing with these kind of high POS coins. You should know when to jump out and move on so that you'll not end up holding the bag that's only getting heavier and heavier through the weeks.
A coin burn would really help the price of XGOX to go up but I don't think it will solve the problem that it's having right now. I would definitely suggest to the team to ramp up their advertisement for this coin. I believe only a little portion of this forum know about the coin itself. Even if they started some MN services, if no one is buying, the price won't go up anytime sooner.
Their site looks pretty poor and abandoned and as I understood they already burned 62% coins as of 29/10/2017
from discord chat the feeling that i've is that dev team is not focus on branding/image of the coin for now. They are really focus on the coin development and i'm happy with that because will be what matter's on the long run. But i fully agree that the website, lack of web presence, etc are keeping more investors away. Given it's a small team, the focus is on (a) developing the actual coins/technology; (b) relationships w/ clients and affiliates; and (c) managing and expanding presence on exchanges. All of these things have taken significant amounts of behind the scenes time and effort that are beyond a full-time job for the team. It often gets lost and forgotten as thankless work, but the team just in the last couple of months has (i) updated the wallet to a new improved version, as well as repaired multiple unexpected wallet issues a bugs within 24/hour periods; (ii) maintained communication and resolved issues very expediently with exchanges such as Cryptopia (where the exchange was at fault); (iii) revamped and launched its own games that are, albeit early stage and simple, fully-functional; (iv) and announced new relationships with big gambling sites such as 1xBet (for perspective, this site MILLIONS of visits per month); (v) added a NEW decentralized exchange (CryptoBridge); and (vi) almost completed full development of a masternode coin which is not just a hype tool, but rather, will function cohesively with the gaming token and is being crafted to meet the actual demands of clients. THIS HAS ALL HAPPENED IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS OR SO. YES, I recognize that public image is important and things like the website, Twitter, Reddit, and Bitcointalk need to be managed better and taken to the next level. The website, as I understand, already has plans and discussions to be completely re-worked. This will all come with time once the heavy lifting of development is out of the way. The resources simply aren't currently there for this, unless people like me from the community want to step up and do it. But the team is now reaching out for additional support as other high priority items are wrapping up. Realize that the team has done all of the above in a DEAD market, with little-to-no resources other than their own personal passion and motivation for the project. Trust me when I say that these are people who CARE about making something great that exceeds the standards of other gaming coins on the market. This is despite all of the FUD and attacks from people who don't seem to understand that the entire market has gone down 500-600 BILLION dollars and is recovering. It really is a tough market right now, and hard to see far into the future. Nonetheless, the team is working hard, and the project is persisting and expanding. I'm not going to even tell everyone they need to go out and buy coins or anything - I just want to explain and help people understand what has been my experience hanging around (as a community member) for the 5-6 months since xGOX as it currently exists launched under its present leadership. Give it time, and you won't regret it - I honestly believe this.
