DEV, Freelabit's supply is 8 Million, that's the information on the blockexplorer! And why are the numbers on the front page of the thread apparently saying there are more coins?
block explorer shows CURRENT circulating supply. (it increases as blocks get mined) Total amount described on OP is the total amount of FBF to be emitted

We´ve stated many times in this thread: This is a community driven project, nobody owns/controls Freelabit, also if you carefully read the OP you may find that we have stated that the FBF Premine is allocated for platform development (freelancing platform), marketing, bounties and user rewards. There are voting lists opened, so, go ahead and contribute, every vote/contribution counts!

Hey dev,
I'm a bit confused about the coin supply/mining. Am i reading correctly that the maximum supply is 18 trillion?? And it only awards 10 coins per block every 2 minutes? If so, how can this ever be profitable to mine?
Thanks
Maximum FBF Supply & Deposits: 18,446,744,073,709 FBF Decimal Points: 6 Minimum transaction fee: 0.001 Total amount of coins to be emitted: Most of CryptoNote-based coins use (uint64_t)(-1) (equals to 18446744073709551616). Mind the decimal, its the same amount of units as other cryptonote coins, they put the decimal in a different place.
18,446,744.073709551616 -12 (monero) 184,467,440,737.09551616 -8 (bytecoin) 18,446,744,073,709.551616 -6 (FreelaBit) Thanks, I understand these details already, what I am saying is that with 18 trillion supply, and only 10 coins per block every 2 mins, this means it probably costs 100x the electricity to mine than the actual value of the coins that I will get. Because how much can each coin even be worth when you have an 18 trillion supply? It has to be less than 1 satoshi even, otherwise you have a market cap higher than bitcoin.

Because how much can each coin even be worth when you have an 18 trillion supply? It has to be less than 1 satoshi even, otherwise you have a market cap higher than bitcoin. This has been discussed before in this thread. It seems like you have been mining long enough to already know that most cryptonote coins don't have a huuuuge block reward. Also, mining is not the only source of emission, **see deposits (has been discussed many times), it's a free market, so its kinda difficult to predict prices. Even though the total supply seems to be huuuge for you(not different from the rest of cryptonote coins) the circulating supply will not be huge ,at least for a few decades, for the very same reason you've concluded in your analysis. So, even though it is a decentralized coin, there's kinda controlled supply. Also, if you've been mining long enough you should already know that to the block reward you need to add transaction fees that are rewarded to miners. There's always a shitload of coins you can mine if the intrinsics of FBF don't suit your pump and dump needs! Cheers.

First of all, please excuse me if you felt as though i was talking shit about your project as this was not my intention, I am happy that you have a strong belief in it. My intention is to understand the emission better and you have explained that you think the circulating supply will be quite low, so this makes somewhat of sense to me although I still think it is too high of a maximum but I also do like the idea of the project itself, thanks.

I think we've won the voting out there - https://altcoinbit.com/page/votingWe were on the 1st place with +4 votest when the timer disappeared. Btw, dislike for the form which still submits the votes, but I hope they would go to the next round.

I can see still 4 hours and 40 minutes left for voting

I see neither notification for user nor any geo ip filtering - anybody can vote now. Lol they just set timer to some UTC time or something, that's not enough, voting must depend on it... I don't know when the voting actually stops, I see it's going on for now.

HI I am unable to sync my wallet, its stuck on 1/1, is there a conf file I need to generate? Thanks.
Are you behind a firewall? What OS?Have you tried to re-install it? Windows 10 Pro, allowed through the firewall, and tried a couple of reinstalls. Bottom left of wallet says synchronizing 1/1 . On the bottom right the 'spinning' arrows say synchronisation in progress, but the plug is greyed out, I assume this means no connection to peers? Tried running with admin rights on 2 separate networks and both are showing the same issue.
