If you ran the wallet you can look for 31002 port using the netstat command. You can use it with <wallet-machine-ip>:31002 in your miner's address string.

Hi so i tried to use ccminer but it wont connect. here is what i typed in the bat file.

"ccminer-x64.exe  -a cryptonight -o http://155.254.33.76:31006 -u TFLBmywalletaddress -p x -i 17 "

i tried it with just tcp and miner just crashes.
tried it with statum+tcp://******** and it wont connect again.

I am not trying to solo mine from local host. i thought i can mine p2p and connect to Freelabit node or something.
please dont laugh lol ,, this is my 1st time attempting this so i might say stuff that makes zero sense.
Also i am not doing it from local host since i have a few gpu's setup on simpleOS at an offsite and would want to point them to do solo mining i guess.
can u tell me how or if its even possible to do p2p mining not really solo i know but not pool.
thank u

I gave it a try A month ago but was not able to mine a single block as the difficulty for this coin went high.
Also stratum+tcp and http won't work, you have to use daemon+tcp. It was a ccminer fork which provided this option.
And the last commit for it was very old dated. I cannot recall the name of the repository this time. Hope you can find it on github.

Curently the ONLY way to solo mine is to set up your own private pool.
Use public pools with low fees and you are good to go without much hassle.

http://minefbf.802-11.pw/  currently runs at 0.1% fee.
For more pools you can check on 1st page

It is fairly new it only lists cryptonote coins so far, small trade volume.
I traded Sumo, ETN and Aeon there without any issues so far. You can try with small amounts to be on the safe side, nowadays no exchange is 100% secure, be it because of hacks, scams or regulations or simply exchanges deciding to put wallets offline or close markets it happened and it happens even in the bigger exchanges. So far I can say it is safe I hope I can keep my word on that and not being disapointed.
