I encourage my mom to invest in bitcoin rather than leaving the money losing it's value in the bank. I finally convinced her about 3 months ago, she said she'll believe me and so far the result is very good. But i never encourage someone that's not close to me because it can be ugly if they are not patient enough to hold through difficult period.

I had the same fear that people will blame me for their loss, but not anymore.
I perfected my explanation and now, whenever I tell people about Bitcoin I clearly describe that NO ONE will guarantee that the price will be constantly growing.
So my hands are clean and in case they would like to invest money after all I am covered. Plus, we can operate on numbers so far - but we can't predict the future.

Bitcoin has been awesome and will always be awesome. We, who have been involved in Bitcoin since the very early days understand this very well. However, for the laymen, for the people who don't really understand the technical aspects of Bitcoin or those who only watch the mainstream media are skeptic about Bitcoin. Since, all they hear in the News is how Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities and how it offers complete anonymity (common misconception) to people to do what they need on Internet.

Have you ever convinced or encouraged anyone to invest in Bitcoin and did you have success? Of course, since we know that we are giving a good advice, so we would usually advice our own family members or friends about this.

In the past few months, I encouraged some of my friends to invest in Bitcoin. They had a lot of questions about it from technical perspective and I helped them understand. They invested in Bitcoin and are very happy with the returns. And now this information propagates and more people will get involved in Bitcoin.

In my humble opinion, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, we can help understand people the positive aspects of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is still in the very initial stages and those of us who really understand what Bitcoin offers, know that Bitcoin Price is only 1/10th of what it's worth right now.

What are the most common responses you get from laymen about investing in Bitcoin?

Some popular ones I receive are:

1. "Oh, it's already too expensive, I cannot afford to buy it."
2. "The governments don't regulate it, why should I invest in it?"
3. "It's an illegal currency and only cyber criminals use it."
4. "What backs up Bitcoin? For example US Dollar is backed by Trust (all time favorite response Cheesy), but what backs up Bitcoin?"
5. "The market is way too volatile to invest."
6. "You can't really use Bitcoin as a currency."
yes i always try to spread this bitcoin in some social site like our own wallet here in philippines because if we refer someone in our own wallet we have reward coming from that and i also know some telegram bot mining to earn bitcoin when you invest i think its risky but some of mining in telegram dont have invest so we are safe even we do that here in bitcoun

I was actually the first among my circle of friends to know about bitcoin, and as such I took it upon myself to inform them of this wonderful new (and profitable) technology. of course, i also explained the risk and losses and the roller-coaster rides, but a few of them actually made that initial step and bought their own bitcoin.

I did encourage some of my friend but before I told them to invest in Bitcoin I let them know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency cause I think if anyone wanna invest in Bitcoin they at least need to know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and the way how it work. If anyone say that you can earn money by investing in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency without any knowledge about it I can ensure that it's HYIP system Smiley).

Convincing laymen (people) to invest in bitcoin is an herculean task that is not easily surmounted, I tried to reach out to some friends of mine explaining the benefits of investing in bitcoin now having read about speculations of bitcoin hitting $10,000K to them.
Majority of them opinionated that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme therefore it is a scam, although  I have not given up on them I am just waiting for the opportunity to exchange my bitcoin to fiat and show them the way.

I observed that many people are more and more interested in BTC. I am 33 and was really surprised when even my father asked about BTC. I convinced at least 10 people to start trading.

I've tried to convince one of my friend who can afford to invest a big amount of money in bitcoin. I told her that bitcoin is a long term investment and that there's a chance that bitcoin price can grow higher because it's market demand is getting higher as time goes by. I even explained to her how bitcoin started and how it grew through the years. Good thing that she was able to buy 2 bitcoin, she was able to gain some money from it. She's still holding her bitcoin and planning to sell it after 3 years.

I have few people asking me about bitcoin. Two of them are my sister and brother in law, they said that bitcoin is just too expensive which is why they can't decide whether they will invest. I told them to try to tokens that giveout dividends quarterly which are very cheap still like TAAS or ETBS but all they replied was that "is that bitcoin?"  Huh

Yes, a few years ago some of my friends asked me about Bitcoin as I was accepting my international payments through Bitcoin and used to trade with USD and alt-coins. I explained them about this new technology and explained about Blockchain and helped them to create their first Bitcoin wallet on web wallet service providers (since it is the most user-friendly IMO).

However, when I try to explain Bitcoin to any new person today, the first excuse is about the legal status of Bitcoin and second one is related to the price of it. I always use the example of fiat currency, using fiat currency is legal as far as you are not using it for illegal activities and Bitcoin is same in this regard. If someone is using Bitcoin for the legal activities, there is no issue but if there any illegal use then there might be a trouble. It's not tough but it is not easy to explain Bitcoin to a newbie.

I encouraged my a couple of my friends recently to check out the crypto world and they fell in love with it immediately. Initially, they were overwhelmed by the technical aspects, but they are learning slowly and are asking me so many questions on a regular basis. I feel great for helping them learn about the basics of the crypto industry.
I also encourage my friend to invest on bitcoin because I wamt to help them to gain some income and money. In addition to that, some of my friends already invest on bitcoin and they already earn income. I and my friends were earn together and we also want to become rich with bitcoin.

I talked to some of my co-workers and had received mixed results.  Few started or will start to invest, few highly against it, and most are indifferent.

- To be or not to be, that is the question. -
