Bitcoin is amazing and always will be. I so appreciate the existence of bitcoin for a better world. Bitcoin is really nice and I have encouraged my elder brother and elder sister to invest in it. My brother was open about it and wanted to know more and later invested some money. But sister wasn't really into it but eventually she too was into it after it crossed that 4k mark.

I do it all the time! The more and more I've been doing it over the years I've noticed I've attracted a lot of people now that are interested in it. Before I had to put in the legwork to try and convince or encourage someone, but now they are coming to me asking questions so there is no need to convince or encourage them haha. They have already heard about it enough and it hasn't gone away.

yes i am trying to convince my friends to invest in bitcoin but he still not interesting with bitcoin. i think we can not push someone to invest in bitcoin because its his decision to join into bitcoin world and if he don't want to join then its up to him. but i think after he know that bitcoin price is increase too high this year then i am sure that he will be regret and he might be interesting to join.
Yes you are right it was kind of your duty to ask your friend for joining the bitcoins because I think that the results would obviously be in his favor. But if he is not willing to answer to you call in a positive manner then I think that there is no reason behind forcing him to do so.

As there are chances for the price to increase in the near future so it is obvious that he would join the game. I have myself tried a lot to get my family convinced in favor of digital currencies but yet not successful in my dreams.

I have actually convince alot of people to invest in bitcoin but the most painful thing is that it is hard to convince people especially those that have no understanding or experience of what digital currency is. ones you start by telling them the steps they begin to ask funny question and many of them actually think its Scam. another people that is difficult to convince are the reach people. they prefer to invest on something that they can see and not internet based. e.g real Estate

The last days a friend mine does wanna to invest, and i said to him well you can buy bitcoin and hold, the price is riding a lot and you will make money doing nothing, better then risk your money into a real business with all of the financial issues around the world. But well he does wanna me to be his partener and well im already into crypto and alone, not pretending to change those at all, worse then loose money is manage others money.

I was initially hesitant to talk about Bitcoin because in my place they considered multi level, is cheating. But the first person I persuaded was my wife, I helped her realize the value of BTC and my husband and I invest together. What a wonderful response.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I have talked to people about Bitcoin but I did not convince or encourage them to invest in Bitcoin. I do not want to be blamed when they lose money even though it will be their own fault. So just to be on the safe side I do not encourage them. I am just introducing Bitcoin to them, what Bitcoin is, some basic stuffs Bitcoin can do and some benefits when you have Bitcoin and use Bitcoin. The are all hooked because of the price but I think they haven't invested yet. Maybe because Bitcoin is not that popular here in our country.

I introduced Bitcoin to my relative first. I tell them the advantage and disadvantages of Bitcoin. I did’nt encourage them instead I told them its up to them if they want to invest on Bitcoin. Bitcoin can be another source of income. Bitcoin really help change lives. I told them if they want to be successfull they must know how to take risk. Its better to take risk and try than not doing anything at all.

Because people nowadays think that whatever came from internet is already a scam so we can't actually blame them for they're just being cautious. For me, I didn't actually push it hard this bitcoin thing to them. I just introduce it to them then I let them judge what they think and let them decide.

Bitcoin has been awesome and will always be awesome. We, who have been involved in Bitcoin since the very early days understand this very well. However, for the laymen, for the people who don't really understand the technical aspects of Bitcoin or those who only watch the mainstream media are skeptic about Bitcoin. Since, all they hear in the News is how Bitcoin can be used for illegal activities and how it offers complete anonymity (common misconception) to people to do what they need on Internet.

Have you ever convinced or encouraged anyone to invest in Bitcoin and did you have success? Of course, since we know that we are giving a good advice, so we would usually advice our own family members or friends about this.

In the past few months, I encouraged some of my friends to invest in Bitcoin. They had a lot of questions about it from technical perspective and I helped them understand. They invested in Bitcoin and are very happy with the returns. And now this information propagates and more people will get involved in Bitcoin.

In my humble opinion, as a Bitcoin enthusiast, we can help understand people the positive aspects of Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is still in the very initial stages and those of us who really understand what Bitcoin offers, know that Bitcoin Price is only 1/10th of what it's worth right now.

What are the most common responses you get from laymen about investing in Bitcoin?

Some popular ones I receive are:

1. "Oh, it's already too expensive, I cannot afford to buy it."
2. "The governments don't regulate it, why should I invest in it?"
3. "It's an illegal currency and only cyber criminals use it."
4. "What backs up Bitcoin? For example US Dollar is backed by Trust (all time favorite response Cheesy), but what backs up Bitcoin?"
5. "The market is way too volatile to invest."
6. "You can't really use Bitcoin as a currency."
To be honest i did not convince them to use this because as far as now many people in mu country did not believing in bitcoin they sad that this is only a scam or fraud so thats why i dont care about them and ny business is my business not for teaching them someday they regret.

yes I convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin. Some of my friends are being convince or encourage because I told them what is the process and how they can earn to it. I already told them the advantages of using this or the advantage of investing bitcoin. Some of my friends also told me that it's too expensive that they can't afford it just like what you said. Some of my friends are asking me if this is a scam but I told them that this is not.

Yes, I encourage someone mostly are my friends. Now they are investing bitcoin because I said that bitcoin price was rising if they hold it for a long time. Even in altcoin, they are holding because altcoin also has an increasing value every time that's why they are investing to earn a lot of profit.

Yes, I convinced a lot and luckily for them they joined but not in investing or trading but thru bounty campaigns because lot of my friends and relatives are just an ordinary and simple people. I think i have shared my digital currencies knowledge to them deeply and very well that i have successfully convinced them that now they are very thankful because they have now earning extra income to support their financial needs too.

I have talked with people about Bitcoin yet I didn't influence or urge them to place assets into Bitcoin. I would lean toward not to be blamed when they lose money notwithstanding the way that it will be their own particular fault. So just to fail in favor of alert I don't invigorate them. I am just familiarizing Bitcoin with them, what Bitcoin is, some basic stuffs Bitcoin can do and a couple of favorable circumstances when you have Bitcoin and use Bitcoin.

Nothing can make equal on the happiness that it would give to you if you do see those people you taught about bitcoin or crypto did succeed and changed their lives because they are earning more than before which would set them free on financial problems. For now they are experiencing on what im experiencing and possibly they are earning more than on what im earning now.

No.  Suggesting investments to people is a bad idea, especially when it's something so risky and volatile.  Whether or not they claim to be okay with losing their money in the worst circumstances, most people would care a lot if it went wrong and it would result in a lot of resentment towards you.  The effect of you making a suggestion which turned out poorly is much more serious than the effect of you making a suggestion that turned out well.
The price of Bitcoin is still in the very initial stages and those of us who really understand what Bitcoin offers, know that Bitcoin Price is only 1/10th of what it's worth right now.
This is an extremely naive suggestion and is not based on any reasonable logic.  The price should be based on how BTC is actually doing, not rabid speculation.
6. "You can't really use Bitcoin as a currency."
To rephrase this into a good argument: "You can't use Bitcoin as a currency as much as you should be able to with a price as high as it currently is".  It's not that you can't use BTC, it's that a significant amount of holders don't.

Yeah, I already convinced and tried to invest in bitcoin. Some site are legit and some are not. But encouraging someone is the hardest unless you have some proof to show on them.

I didn't really try to convince them to invest but I just shared my experience so far with bitcoin and an average of how much I am earning from it. Depending on whoever is interested to know more then I supplemented some information but for those who are doubtful about it then I just don't regard their comments because they didn't really understand it because there are others who will say that it is a scam because of its high price and some would say it would be gone maybe after a while. So far, I have one friend who became interested to invest and he bought it last month when the price was around $4k and before the China news when bitcoin price crash and he was worried when price is already around $3k but I just said that bitcoin price will always rise after a crash and he just hold and he is happy now looking at the price.

in five days ago when I am visiting my friends in other city, I am discuss about internet marketing because she earn money from affiliate and then she asked me how I can earn money. I tell her that now I am trying to earn money from bitcoin and she is interesting with bitcoin, she wants to know about bitcoin and finally I teach her where we start, how we can earn satoshi by free and by deposit our money and buy bitcoin. I don't talk too details about bitcoin but I only tells the big point of bitcoin so she can follow my explaining and I think she is understand. every day we talk and discuss about bitcoin, I tell her about bitcointalk which she can found many news from here so she can learn more about bitcoin and I tell other website too. and now I think I can convince her about bitcoin and she have passion to continue to search more info about bitcoin and I am glad that one person again that I can convinced and I can give her my proof of payment from bitcoin.

No! Because everytime that I'm going to talk about bitcoin in my friends they're going to change the topic. I think they are not interested.

I used to encourage some of my relatives to use bitcoin. Of course, some of them refused. They claim that it is not real money, although I have given evidence. They also advised me not to rely on bitcoin.
