the support isn’t there yet. Bitcoin has been around for the longest, being the first and most important blockchain so it has the network effect of infrastructure built up from people adopting it for usage since 2008. other alts are too new, so nobody accepts them yet, and the infrastructure to accept them doesn’t exist yet.

With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.

Of course I am buying altcoins. And I am happy when people begin to panic and sell their altcoins because of a serious dump in their prices. This is for me a good season to acquire as many altcoins as my budget could afford. When these altcoins are in red simply because of a prospect that is siding with Bitcoin, there is something that will follow afterward that would paint smiles on our faces. Recently, crypto fans are going into Bitcoin but then after the cancellation of the SegWit2x, they went back to the altcoin world and profits started to accumulate.

i think it may be able to buy ethereum with fiat, and monero has a local bitcoins style p2p exchange that runs on fiat…

I'm earning Altcoins through signature bounty campaigns and sell it right if there's an exchange available and then I invest Bitcoin because Bitcoin value is increasing rapidly than Altcoins.

Sometimes the most successful investment is when the moment isn't good. But perhaps Bitcoin Cash isn't showing good progress today doesn't it will going to dump in the future.

Absolutely! Thousands of ICOs were happening in the past few months but only few of them will push to the top.
They're just helping Bitcoin to pump more.

The time of buying altcoins is now that the bitcoin fork is cancelled , altcoins will rise this time. But i do not buy altcoins , i earned altcoins through bounty campaigns and through airdrops. There are lots of ICO that are being held by this past few months now , but i saw few of them ends in success.

I found uncomfortable for long term investments, and it's just like keeping your keys for a decade and everyone's keep on changing their storage devices though cloud storage isn't always good idea for securing keys.. Right?

yes i buy altcoin due to they are now cheap and i totally not bet all my investment to my single coin because if that invest gone bad i havent got any investment to get from and also if i invested in a lot of coin i will get some of the profit from the other and if my one altcoin gone bad i have another backup coin

Did the two of you even take a look at BCH price now? It is currently at $1,100 from $500 few days ago.

I am not buying anything. My portfolio is still 50/50 between altcoins and bitcoin. I can see bitcoin will rise again at $7,000 before segwit2 happens.

P2P exchange does it mean no fees required in every transaction or conversion?
It is good that having this alternative cross coin will give you hope getting good profits.

yes i also buy altcoin in this way i can get more profits from it if i invested on some numbers of altcoin i prefer not to buy altcoin single only because if that altcoin gone bad you will never get the profit from it and you will be having a hard time on it

yes I buy altcoin this is the well know motto for buying altcoin and also other currencies "buy low sell high" just wait for the right moment to sell that altcoin when the price is high in this way you can get a lot of profit from and and also this is the easier way yet it is time comsuming because you need to wait a lot of time to get that price sky rocketing

That makes sense but it's not applicable all the time if you're dealing with altcoins. You can think a price is the dip, and you buy tons of that altcoin. And then it makes another 50% dump after your so called dip.

We need to act very responsible on altcoin trade, I'm not buying anymore of them.

In actual this is the common thing in the bitcoin and altcoins field with combination of increase and decrease .
Here I myself have making investment in the bitcoin and also in the altcoins , Because I know that the price of the bitcoin going small small down but this is the first of the time when it is getting down after big pump , so it will once increase for small time , now next we can see that the price of the bitcoin if will go more and more down then surely if I have investment in the altcoins than I will make earnings in the altcoins more and more because with the down in the price of the bitcoin , the price of the altcoins will get up easily .
So here I  am doing both the work of buy bitcoin and altcoins , in small small amounts with every pump and dump .
