ETH falling

I have a couple of ETHs stored for a while and seeing as how the price is falling, it really disappoint me and I've been thinking for days already that maybe it's time to sell ETH, but then again price keeps dropping so I'm having second thoughts because I'll be selling it for a lower price compared to when I get it. How long do you guys think this will keep going? How low will eth go?

I think it will rise again after the btc fork. Although I'm spending half of my eth coins to tokens on Etherdelta and the other half in storage. It cannot go in a really deep dive. I guess. And I hope

ETH is diving, because people are more interested to buy BTC and also because of the next fork. If BTC succeed to attain 7000 USD, and ETH is still at 300 USD, ETH maybe will be 0.035 satochis...
But if BTC fall after, ETH may regain some value compare to BTC. But i don't think ETH will be able to attain 0.1 or 0.9 BTC (the value before Bitcoin Cash).
BTC is too strong and too popular compare to ETH. Each fork of BTC help it to get more value. That's what i found.
I have also lost money compare to Bitcoin. We think that because Bitcoin is so valuable, it can't grow stronger than ETH. But we were wrong.

I wouldn't recommend you to sell ETH right now. It is true that the price hasn't been able to recover since the last peak back in September when it reached almost 390$, but we're around the 300$ so i wouldn't say the situation is that bad. Actually, last month wasn't so bad, started around 301$ and closed yesterday at 308$. Yes, there is dip in the price today but almost every altcoin is taking a hit from the Bitcoin new ATH.

How long will eth go? ETH was @212$ in September so there's that, but no one can know for sure. I would suggest that you keep those ETHs for the time being.

ETH will be a long term hold, so if you bought it to hold it then HODL it! If you are trying to make a sort term profit then eth might not be the best way to go. It is not artificial and so the price will not be increasing due to pumps for awhile. For ethereum to rise, more ICO's are going to need to succeed which we wont see for a few years

It's not falling dude. It's fluctuating around $300 and it's not going even dip. So this is good to know that people are holding it around $300 and it won't go down easily with the current conditions.

It is good to see ETH holding near $300 price level. It will be worrisome if breaks below last low
of  $280. Hopefully the next rally will start after Bitcoin fork is out of the way later this month.

stop beeing a drama queen... a 4% drop is not a fall! the rest of people is really suffering big loses with their altcoins..
ETH is a safe bet for the longterm.. it will rise, slower or faster.. but it will surpass its ATH.
Unless you need cash now, dont ever think of selling them. If i were you i will think about investing in the cheap altcoins that are on sale right now.. special  novermber's hardfork offer

I know what you are saying bud... It sadnes me to see ETH not rising in same manner as BTC but I agree with folks here... It will in time. Just sitt tight and forget about it.

For bitcoin prices  its too  high., ethereum investors have not been indifferent. they probably did the sales themselves. not just etereum, but a lot of altcoinshave tensed over time, and now it's probably going to fall.  it's a project with the future of ethereum and probably a few months later we're going to do it on ethereum this time.

Ether is necessary to trade ERC-20 tokens so as more of these are traded there will be more demand for ether. This should maintain,if not increase,the value.

If you have ethereum do not sell it. Its price will grow becasue this coin is for long term, maybe now going down but do not worry and wait

How long will eth go? It will go as long as eth stays relevant in the industry. This seems to be for the foreseeable future I would say you have no worries about whether eth will be around and relevant.

Don't worry, ethereum is a very trusted and known coin, so it is very unlikely for its price to go down and not recover and even overcome its highest price. It is even more so as there is a strict dev plan made by Vitalik. Ethereum will go up, it is just that people sell it and the price goes down and due to that it becomes too unprofitable to mine this coin (due to Byzantium fork) and then the price goes down even more. I think it will need some time for new miners to get into business and then everything will be just fine. If it won't and you are holding eth really long-term - everything will be great after the switch to pos in a coule of years anyway, so maybe it is worth waiting.

They've bought other domains related to crypto in the past, so it is probably nothing. But, it may be a decent time to accumulate some just in case.

Me too! I wish I could have bought at that time for about 200 bucks but as of now I'm even with my overall buy price. I've put my ethers in the cold storage for now and will look at them only after the BTC fork.
