ETH is a well known scam coin.Its not doing well because %99 of the scam projects use Ether / ERC20 coins.

ERC20 is a well known scam platform, you cant even mine those coins.

Mining is %99 what makes the coin work. Depending on another coin/ Ether doesnt make sense.

hell no, etherium is not a scam coin. yet most ico's are using erc20 which is under etheriums platform but that doesnt mean all of them are purely scam.

no its not. the demand and supply is the real factor why coins work. coins  need people to support it in order to make it valuable and worth it.

i think bitcoin has more supporters compared to etherium because most of the people are using and investing on bitcoins and etherium will be the second. though i believed also that 2018 will be a good year for etherium and all the altcoins to start a new journey after this hardfork tragedy thats still happening to altcoins. and yes theres no need to fear or panic if their prices are falling because it is normal for the altcoins to decrease for a longer time.

At least to the fork i don´t see any alts recovering. Anyway truly cryptocurrencies like BTC, XMR, LTC, ZEC or "platform" tokens such as ETH, XBY or KMD will definitely have a future despite any hard falls they can have. For a lot of worthless tokens issued in ico´s i´m not so sure. So i think you are fine holding to eth, even if it seems your are loosing some BTC rally.

having a future is one thing and being able to keep the price up which is pure speculation related is another.

these coins are offering something interesting with the smart contracts and things like that but most of them have fundamentalist issues that will keep them from rising that big in the long run. for example ethereum has a large supply an no limit to it. and if other altcoins are any indications the large supply coins are always going down the hill.

I think you are absolutely right. But apart from the scarcity the same would apply to BTC. You saw a rise this year alone from 1k to 7k without any considerable new markets emerging (by markets i mean real use cases as a currency). This rise have been on speculation alone and the believe in store of value IMO. But that doenst mean we don´t expect BTC to keep rising. I think the same would apply to other asset, even ETH. and yes ETH the problem with supply and IMO the problem of the hundreds of shitty tokens that will crash on top of it:)

I can surely understand your disappointment but i think we need to see this as a temporary situation since all alt coins are very unstable at the moment. Yes ethereum is not an ordinary alt coin but still they are all sharing the same fate against bitcoin.

I see the ethereum as a good coin to day trade...
especially for people that have 1000 + ETH
they can make easily 15k - 30k $ a month

I agree with you . Not only ethereum but all altcoin markets have dropped to very low prices, even I have lost my temper when seeing altcoin but I hope after the setwit2x Bitcoin prices can drop and should stabilize for a long time because of me Bitcoin prices are expected to rise sharply in 2018

ETH is one from some promising coin, they stil a little stable when bitcoin price get so high like now. maybe you must wait a little longer untill bitcoin price stop to rise or maybe wait for correction of bitcoin

Most have traded on ethereum and save for a long term even the price is falling. Because these days is the best time to invest and buy some ethereum. It is not best to sell ethereum you will lose some, I hold because in the long run price will reoccur to rise.

Ethereum gives you high profit in the future. All just we need to be patience and for sure once ethereum increase ut will continue and we can make more moeny with ethereum. do not worry, I think this will not belong. maybe after a hard fork bitcoin occurs ETH will again show progress again. I also hold some ETH but I do not want a glitz to make a sell decision just because the price is down. I believe everything will come back to normal.

Everything will soon return to normal, and in particular the etherum, because some altcoins will have not got the strength to return to the old price, but eth will advise.
