So, yesterday I played a 3,30$ re-entry freezout 1000$ GTD tourney on betcoin.

After finishing 13th with AQs agains A3s all in for 60bb and almost punching my screen to life, i was awaiting about 2 mbtc in my account. Which somehow did not seem to get there.

After waiting for some time and checking the balance, I was somewhat confused, because the funds did not add up.

So i sent a message to support to help me. Simon was very friendly and really tried to help me. After sending me the proof of my balance transactions, things got a little confusing.

https://ibb.co/cNpEnb

Basically he was telling me that I got paid out for the tourney in multiple micro payments. That did not make sense to me. I registered the tourney at 12:30 and 2 hours later I recive my first payment for the tourney. But the tourney did not get into money time yet. That happened about a couple hours later.

I do not understand how I can get paid for a tourney that I did not bust yet or got into the money yet. It is a freezout not bounty tourney. Any suggestions? Here is the transcript of the chat with simone:

"$1,000 GTD" (7955399)   ?
dario
yes

we connected?

Support Simon
Yes, we are

A moment more please
dario
ok np

Support Simon
You have received several payments for that tournament I will need a moment more to calculate exactly how much was it.
dario
it s weird, why do I not see the transaction?

Support Simon
The poker payments for shared tournaments is shown only in detailed transactions in our system

You only see them as chips in your poker balance
dario
and yesterday on cash table, a player was siting out in the middle of the hand and his hand was all in and not folded. Is that normal?

where can I see the chips were transfered?

Support Simon
you received USD14.45 - 2.05 chips/mbtc for that tournaments.
dario
yea that would be more than I won

i really am suspicious about this, I do not have thousands so I can lose track of them. I had 8 in my balance, and lost maybe max 1 on cash and finished the tourney and had 7,50 in my balance

things do not add up on my side

can you send me a proof of my balance history?

Support Simon
A moment please, I will sent you a screenshot.
dario
thx

Support Simon

I believe you will be able to figure out the credit and debit bars
dario
i will check thank you Smiley

Support Simon
You are welcome anytime.
dario
yea

it adds up

Support Simon
All good?
dario
i just do not understand how I got paid before I finished the tourney

i thought i finish and then get the whole prize

Support Simon
there are guaranteed prizes
dario
how can I get money while still playing?

Support Simon
Which get paid out the moment someone leaves

And you get paid after the tournament ends.
dario
i do not get it

never heard of that

playing poker for 10 years

how can I get a part of the prize pool while there it is not in the money time in the tourney?

I got my first part of the prize pool 2 hours into the tourney

but we got in the money 4 hours later

that does not make sense

Support Simon
Pleas enote that the time zone may be different
dario
something is not right there

players should get their money after they bust in the tourney

not before or after like I did

it was not a bounty tourney

it was a re-entry freezout as I knoe

Support Simon
That is the way the tournaments are paid

After you kick out someone you get paid at that time, and when the players are being kicked out one by one you get a part of the guaranteed prizepool.

Every single payment is accounted for and paid correctly.
dario
you say it was a bounty tourney?

Support Simon
I thought you wrote a bounty tournament.

My mistake
dario
ok can you explain it to me?

Support Simon
I thought I did.
dario
why I got money in a freezout tourney before I busted out?

Support Simon
as I said, you received a part of the guaranteed prizepool after someone lost their seat.
dario
That just does not make sense

Support Simon
The less players, the more you will win.
dario
if I bust before the money why would I have goten any money?

It is a freezout not a bounty

i just do not understand

i will ask the community

thx for the help

Support Simon left the chat

Any help from you guys explaining that would be very nice.

Cheers

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

2mbtc? Will betcoin go this low not to pay their players? I guess this is another reason why people should avoid playing here. There are really a lot more alternatives than betcoin and you should also consider moving out of this casino. This casino has been proven to have cheated their players and their name will never ever be cleaned because having such an incident will mean that this site has a tendency to cheat.

I have never had a problem with them, some times they are late with payments but only for a hour or two if you sports bet.

I wouldnt hold large amounts of money with them, but I have been paid thousands in sports bets recently. Weird people are having problems

Are you stating they paid you too much?  Your post is very confusing.  It looks like you were thinking you would get 2mBTC and you received 2.05mBTC?  My guess is you just calculated the winnings incorrectly and made a big deal over nothing.

WTN (the network that Betcoin is a skin of for tournaments) pays out their tournaments in an odd way.  When you make the money, you get paid that right away into your account.  Every time you ladder up, you get paid THAT amount (the difference between the previous amount you earned and the new amount you earned) right away into your account as well.  So when you bust out, you actually aren't "due" any more money because you've already been paid all of the money that you cashed for.

I never have a problem with them till this day but what I so know one thing that it is really takes time to get their withdrawal and in your case that is not a problem because you need the credit on your balance. I do not think that they want to ruin their reputation just because 0.002 btc because it is really a shame for big site like them can't pay that amount. You should really be patient with them because their support need to contact their admin for this kind of mess

Took me a while to get used to this but I guess its better, if you wanna fire later tourneys when youre on a limited roll but already in the money in an early one

I had never really thought about why they did that but you have a really good point. I know  for me and a few of my poker playing palace this is happened numerous times and other sites. Pretty smart of WPN network to implement such a cool feature of the tournament payouts.

2mbtc may be a small amount, but I think they can make a better campaign for the New Year, because they will not want to be behind the other companies that are starting to announce campaign news for the New Year.

this is what made me go from betcoin ,, it was almost 1 month ago .. instead they did not pay but they went too long to pay ,, not that i can not wait but this can be said unfairly when we have trouble to take this. because this could be said to be a fraud

Yes, Winning Poker Network (WPN) does pay out piece by piece once you are in the money.  I know on ACR, the little ITM tab comes up once you are in the money, and you are credited with the cash as soon as you make the money, then credited more and more as you move up the cash ladder.  I have not however noticed that on Betcoin, but it is probably done the same way as well.  I'm not sure though how you received a payout before you reached the money, unless it was a matter of time stamping, which may be different timezone where you are vs. their server time.

Did you actually see the money in your balance before you were "in the money"?  Or were you just looking at the time stamp on the log?
