If true as the topic is right, Amazon integrates payment with Bitcoin, this is a very good signal for the future of Bitcoin. Because once an e-commerce platform like Amazon integrates BTC, there will be many e-commerce platforms like eBay, Alibaba ... in the future will integrate BTC into a valid form of payment. And then Bitcoin will become the currency of the future, it will be accepted by the government as an official currency. I very much hope the next 20 years Bitcoin will be popular around the world.  Grin

There are rumors that Ebay will start implementing bitcoin.
I am hearing rumors for a long time that the major e portals will be implementing bitcoin but till now there are no signs that they are no where near integrating bitcoin with their business model,if they accept it is well and good, but with the transaction charges higher than ever, who will be using it to purchase products from these sites. On October 31, Amazon listed three domains associated with cryptocurrency, which sparked speculation that Amazon would soon start receiving cryptocurrency as a method of payment. The intended domains are amazonethereum.com, amazoncryptocurrency.com, and amazoncryptocurrencies.com. Previously, Amazon already has a domain name amazonbitcoin.com. The news about Amazon's decision to buy 3 cryptocurrency-themed domains will certainly affect the cryptocurrency market in the future.

This is not the first time rumors that Amazon will accept the digital currency. A few weeks ago, there was news coming from Silicon Valley that reported that Amazon would soon be able to integrate Bitcoin as a payment option. Every step undertaken by Amazon, one of the most innovative and influential technology companies in the world, will always have enormous consequences or effects.
Instead news surfaced as "anti" from Amazon news that will soon receive payment in digital currency. In an interview, Amazon Pay vice president Patrick Gauthier stated that Amazon is not planning to accept cryptocurrency because there is little demand. Given the majority of online payments made via debit and credit cards, Gauthier's statement sounds reasonable and convincing.

Why any company would accept bitcoin in its current form is beyond me. The transaction fee is almost $20. There's a reason why steem dropped it. They really need to solve the huge transaction fee or integrate with a 3rd party wallet/payment system for it to be viable.

Purchasing items will be better if amazon does found a way to integrate bitcoin as a way of payment. They need to fix the transaction fee because if its too high then they will lose a lot of interested buyers. Most of the buyers online loves to find cheap deals. If the transaction fee is too high, customers will just pass on the deal and move on to a more cheaper deals. If those issues were fix, I can't see any reason why amazon won't use bitcoin as mode of payment. At the end of the day, both parties will earn money and its a WIN WIN situation.

I think amazon and bitcoin is not having any thing in common. For the amazon to work properly it needs to be very fast and the customers it owns is general people who may or may not be knowing the bitcoin in first place. This way they might loose some customer base. Yes they can have the other payments system in place of sure but this also confuses people on choosing the transaction agents. This is about whether amazon will merge the bitcoin system or not. With current regulation on the bitcoin it might be difficult to manage in each and every other country. SO they might need to target the use of bitcoin payment mode to country specific. So you see many complications might just arrive during the journey of adding up the bitcoin payment processor.
Bitcoin will give a lot to the amazon and all this is just happening in next year now bitcoin community has grown stronger and more denser and people also want to use bitcoin a payment and amazon did very well to recognize bitcoin and this act of amazon will take it to the leading seat of e-commerce and in following the amazon many other online are also interested in accepting bitcoin payment because they know fact that it will give max.

I think all the online stores must recognize the bitcoin and some of the other crypto currencies as soon as possible because it will also maximize the profits which they are already having. Another advantage of the bitcoin recognition will be that amazon or ebay will hold certain amount of bitcoins which will give them a lot of profit and also to many others who are earning from the bitcoins. The companies jumping in will increase the confidence of the people and so will be the demand.

I'm sure they will be able to integrate Bitcoin into their payment system, but I don't think they will. This is due to the fact that Bitcoin transaction fees are really high now. I think they would opt for something like Litecoin or something cheaper.

They can integrate bitcoin in their payment methods if they wish, it will not be very hard for a company as big as amazon to find a way to use bitcoin to their favor but I think they will be more inclined to make a coin of their own and pass it on to their customers to use.

Yes they can but the answer is will they. What prevents Amazon to launch their own crypto and use it as medium of exchange. They do not really have the incentive to integrate BTC. Look at what openbazzar doing, first they introduce BTC and other altcoins as a medum of payment but eventually they are planning to launch their own ICO. Amazon surely will implement blockchain and other stuff but highly unlikely to integrate btc into its platform

Of course it can be implemented and there is a rumor going on its done. Its about time some online takes notice of the precious block-chain Tech King

True, it has a good chance of being integrated since amazon is an on-line market that caters users across the globe so I think if bitcoin or other cryptocurrency becomes more popular and acceptable then it would only be normal for these online markets to adapt to these kind of changes.

I think amazon and any other major company integrating bitcoin as a payment method won't be too hard in the future, they will have such a way that on purchase the bitcoin is instantly sold off in to the currency needed (USD for example) so that it is almost a seamless transaction for everyone. Accepting bitcoin as part of payment for their services will help them alot in even making more profit

In small online stores you can already pay with bitcoin and other crypto currency. It is high time for the giants to accept them. If this happens, the price of bitcoin should go up to $ 50,000.

Amazon and other big corporations will definitely adapt crypto currencies and integrate it as one of the options of their payment system. Adaption could be the trigger for the market cap of crypto currencies to reach beyond a trillion dollars. If you have been reading the news, some corporations and governments have started to consider crypto currencies.

A few weeks ago I read something about Amazon developing a AI algorithm that is beyond anything available now in linking Bitcoin addresses, tracing them to users. Including address and such. And they will provide this service to the IRS. So I don't think many Bitcoin users will be for that invasion of privacy.

It is entirely reasonable that Amazon integrates Bitcoin into payment for trading activities through this huge trading site. The use of Bitcoin is fast and secure for both buyers and sellers. As a big man of e-commerce, surely, integrating Bitcoin into Amazon's commercial activity is a matter of time. Perhaps, Amazon is waiting for positive moves from the governments of some countries. Just take the positive moves of governments, everything will be passed. Amazon will officially accept liquidity by Bitcoin.

Why not? amazon is an online shop that caters also online payment, it is so possible that amazon may integrate bitcoin as a payment. As i heard other online business also accepting bitcoin as a payment and that is a great idea that amazon may also accept bitcoin for customer's payment.

Amazon has got the best team to make themselves advanced and move forward with the addition of new payment solution. Already there are traders around the globe accepting bitcoin as payment offering services through Amazon and eBay. The corporate entry will lead to drastic growth, same time they'll try to over rule the community and tries to earn the most out of it.

I don't think they will. More probable that they will create own cryptocurrency. And it will be one of the most expected ICO. If it will be ICO.
