It's hard to name a single altcoin but I think that if you want really big profits then you need to pay attention to coins with a capitalization of less than $ 5 million

In my opinion, such altcoin there are a lot I can even advise a few but this is my opinion: Stratis, Waves, Wings and I liked Decred

Any number of altcoins could go crazy next year, one which I am a particular fan of is CHBT formerly WBB and not very well known, they have just swapped over and we should see some exciting action, there are tons of others but this is my fav right now.

Now is a good time to pick up some altcoins as it seems loads of people are dumping them for bitcoin.

REQ is a good one IMO. Some key dates:

1) The next few weeks: these next few weeks we will see at least two formal updates from the team. I expect some news about new hires to come out, as well information about larger exchanges. Lastly, we should receive more information about the ING partnership and their extent within Request.
2) Q1 2018: This time period is what really gets me and many investors excited. They expect to have the first iteration of Request working on Ethereum main net (essentially the first full working product). I expect many huge partnerships to be announced during this stage (similar to Omise’s McDonalds partnership). There has been speculation about Amazon due to a screenshot on the website showing a “Pay with Request” button on Amazon’s checkout page, and I believe many more companies will be publicly announced as working with Request as a major payment option. Request’s backend audit and accounting services will be utilized by many companies as well, and I expect some major partnerships regarding that front.
3) Q4 2018 and beyond: Hopefully by this period, Ethereum will have some working iteration of Casper POS protocol, and with that many of us long term hodlers will be able to stake our tokens for POS consensus confirmation of Request payments. This will bring with it many new investors as well as the prospect of a annualized % return based on total network volume on Request Network.
Based on the points discussed above, this stage right now is an AMAZING opportunity to snag REQ tokens. I can guarantee that come Q1 2018, even the base ICO price will look tiny. $300-$400 million market cap will not be out of question with some big partnerships being announced and a growing team. Please ignore the short term FUD and take a look at the roadmap, and what the team is doing. They are AHEAD OF SCHEDULE folks, hodl and relax, because this journey is only just getting started.

Judging from the roadmap, i'd say 2018 is going to be a great year for OmiseGO. Holding a bit of my portfolio in that coin, atleast until the third quarter. PoS is gonna be released along with their own blockchain (and plasma integration which will help scale it)

You must remember that only you are responsible for your dinancial decisions  so even if someone will show you "perfect" way to earn make own research and check everything. Anyone that has serious development and good community behind it. Hard to give a real coin but look for ones that are undervalued and have good tech behind them. Deep Onion seems to be a good pick

I find Monero to be one of the best choices as it provides complete anonymosity in its transactions. The transactions made through Monero are secure and untraceable. The identity of the sender and reciever is kept private. Also with a market capital of 3 billion dollars, within 2-3 months, its price can reach 300$ per annum. So the coin has a lot of potential and you can expect a good amount of worth from it.

Mothership (MSP). They will launch their exchange and token market within 6 months from now. They are also aiming for getting certified as a financial institution in Europe within 3 months. WAX Token. I'm not sure how this one will play out, but the teams are the big guy from online gaming items industry. Brought by the current owner of OPSkins, the pioneer and biggest Steam items marketplace. Their ambitious goal is to make online items marketplace easily made by people. What I don't like is they hold too many coins for their own. The ICO itself only amount to 35% of the total token. the rest 65% is basically for themselves (they called it for Team, Founders, Advisors, Market Development, bullshit). Their concept is good, but not sure if they really could deliver.

I don't know about any new altcoins currently that can be profitable to invest. I am trying to invest a good amount in etherum. But if anyone knows about a good altcoin that is worth investing and from where profit can be gained please let me know about it. From what I know I would definitely go with Ethereum as it can be profitable in the long-term investments.

Stratis will bring one of the most profit i think. Tezos may be the second but they need to figure out how to run their foundation properly. ICON can be huge also.

There will be 3 altcoins for me to watch,
1. etherium
2. litecoin
3. monero
I pick this three because its always been a trend, and i've monitor this three coins and they are 3 of the best

for next year. I think a lot of altcoin we can have and take advantage next year. for myself will prefer token / coin with a more real project and really working the project. so the function of the coin will be properly used for its purpose.

maybe before the hardfork finish later is the right choice to store or buy a nice tokens / kerna rate all token alt still depressed by the current bitcoin price.
