Well, I think it is indeed too much complicated and harder to use, you have to have knowledge about how it works on internet. You have to make an account, buy bitcoin from different sites ( which takes 5% to 7% Fees) then transfer to exchanges for trading or to use.

How can a normal people, who usually watch youtube video, use fb or other social media, you expect him/her to know all these things? I seen people give up easily, and think it's too techy.

I believe if Bitcoin sell coins on their official website, with lower fees, such as 1% to 2%, and make  a simple wallet for people to use, more & more people would buy and use it.
What is your opinion on it? discuss..
yes you are right that bitcoin is complicated for average people the first thing is that bitcoin is not a easy thing that anyone will understand and invest in bitcoin thats why educated people invest in bitcoin and also thats why education shows real advantage in life.

agree actually here on the philippines to set up an account with bitcoin you have to verify yourself first before you could buy a bitcoin or exchange your bitcoin to cash , it's pretty annoying to people and sometimes the mining fee is much larger compared to the amount that you about to send which is really frustrating to people who have zero background on cryptocurrency

In my opinion the most complicated topic about Bitcoin is the security of the wallet.

Indeed open an account and buy Bitcoins is the same as buying stocks on financial markets.

The main difference is when you have bought stocks, these are safe on your broker account, nobody can steal them.

It is not the case with the Bitcoin : the principle of public and private key is easy to understand but you are always afraid your wallet to be broken ...

And with the anonymity of transactions, you have little chance of finding the culprit  Sad

I think just learning a little bit about blockchain can make you comfortable trading in this market. For me, if you have a phone you can easily get more Bitcoin from engaging in trading and you will find Bitcoin great.

Yes it is too much complicated for average people to buy and use bitcoins but it isn't at hard at all if you follow some tutorials. The main problem is average people don't understand how bitcoin works but I guess they will learn as time passes by.

Blockchain now allowing users to buy bitcoins from blockchain wallet so it will be easy for newbies to use bitcoins without any problem.

This is the internet and there is plenty of information about all of that.
I didn't know anything like 2 weeks ago and now I think I'm more or less confident in all of this stuff.

Some fair and valid points. Several years back, an experiment by MIT transferred $100 worth of Bitcoins to students in its particular year. More than half immediately cashed out, and only a handful had kept the coins, learnt more about it and used it, at the end of the experiment. Bear in mind that these were highly technically-gifted millennials with above average knowledge of computers and internet technology. It was evidence that Bitcoin - as intended use as a P2P digital currency - was still difficult to learn and adopt for every day use.

On the other hand, you can earn (or buy) and spend Bitcoin as easily as any other currency or payment provider online without having to learn deeper aspects of Bitcoin tech or its network. For the average user, perhaps web wallets are simplest, and you even have apps now that instantly convert your fiat to crypto and back to fiat whenever you want.

Myself, I've moved to my own private wallet, I've learnt how to spend exactly as I want, adjusting fees and dipping into the network when it's efficient, but perhaps it isn't urgently necessary for the vast majority of people.

P.S. There are already recommended wallets, merchants, and exchanges across multiple sites telling people how to buy and sell Bitcoin and use simple wallets.

Honestly i dont think bitcoin is too complicated for the average people.
Bitcoin is not addressed to 70y old zombies. And thats good.
There are a lot of online services which make it easy for you to set up a (or better: download your own ) wallet.
Afterwards you just have to register in a marketplace and you are ready to buy. Nothing more.
If people are "barely able" to browse youtube videos they just should not touch the internet at all.

I think your assumptions are pretty correct and only true about people who are into crypto currencies at all. Its true that when you see the bitcoin first time and think that yo will use it then you have to start from scratch and need know many things indeed. I mean we must know what bitcoin is because then only we can know where to use it and how to use in real world. If they can't even know from where to acquire the bitcoin then that would be ridiculous to have it. May be this can be overcome with adding up or upgrading the way bitcoin can be acquired. May be there should be bitcoin terminals from where anyone can buy the bitcoin with addition of fiat currency, like the ATM machine only but more easier to understand what it is exactly.

I think it is not a hard thing to learn how to use and understand the bitcoin technology. So, there is no need to advanced requirements to use that technology. By a good briefing or a little search, anyone can be a bitcoin user or a trader.

I  beg to disagree because people who are not computer literated could not actually understand the whole concept of bitcoin no matter How hard I teach them about it !

You know, I don't think that it's too complicated. If crypto community can explain the world the reverence of bitcoin and blockchain technologies it can be possible.

It's too expensive to buy and easy to loose if you're not careful. I will treat it as investment instrument, like stocks, not a replacement for fiat money.

It is difficult to?I think the basic theory of blockchain is better understood, if you have studied the computer.Say simply, it is easy to buy the currency but COINS behind a pile of code, well, everyone does not have the patience to study the pile of code, because we don't have mastered the programming.

Yes, I think bitcoin is for everyone and no matter what status of your life is you can surely use bitcoin. And for me bitcoin really offers great opportunity specially for those people who wanted to make good money. The system of bitcoin is easy to understand, you just need to make time to study how.

Yes, it's really a problem for bitcoin. It seems to me that the exchange will accept any action to solve it otherwise they lose customers.

Yes Bitcoin is not so hard you need only time to learn it how it works. I was also a noob when i got my first coins from claiming faucets. Now I am investing in other coins.

I have learned that you need to save the coins which you earn or buy to maximize your profit in the future.
