Bitcoin is absolutely not too complicated for average people. It just depends on whether the average person is lazy or not and whether or not they have the will power to find the answers they are looking for because believe me the answers are all out there. You just have to go online and find the ones with the most views taught by a decent and genuine person.

Yes, I agree. People who know about how Bitcoins work are people who are smart enough to learn the mechanics of the game because it is not easy but they earn really well out of it. These are game-changers as they determine for themselves how delicate yet promising it is to invest and earn online without having to go to physical offices, without the fear of taxation, without any discrimination that are usually required to people who go to work, among others. I must say these people are one of the bests!
Bitcoin itself is not at all complicated for the average people .However the basic facilities such as the Internet or having access to the social sites play a key role in understanding well the whole game. Moreover the end result altogether depends upon the skills of a person.

Some out there grab the basics and all of the techniques just in a bit of time and others spend their entire life in revising and then implementing the laws for earning profits via this method.

There are some bitcoin ATM/Kiosk available now. It helps people to buy and sell bitcoin without wallet installation, etc. Just they have to make sure they won't throw the paper with bitcoin code away accidentally  Wink

It's really hard to buy bitcoin in certain country, such as Canada. Yes i know you can buy from coin base, but they do not allow more than $100 bitcoin per week, and we are not allowed to sell. Lots of people other thread offered local bitcoin, but when bitcoin price is $6800, they sell it on $7800, That's $1000 extra plus 5% fees of the amount. Why people have to pay that much money extra to buy bitcoin? why don't they have an official site, where you can buy in current price?
If there was an official site where everyone could buy then it would be centralised as one person has the control of selling coins. If someone wants to sell btc he can sell it at the prevailing price or as you said charging  $1k extra. The reason for the extra funds is the premium or goodwill of btc.

Ase you said bitcoin is too complicated for average people I don't agree with it . if u telling about transaction fees its normal . and the price level is so much that you can use some from that its totally OK .
How is transaction fees connected to learning btc even if i tell the person that btc fees is some $4 how will it help him understand how btc works please post relevant to the topic you don't make any sense.

I totally agree. Everything in Bitcoin is too complicated for the average person. Buying - when it is not impossible - is complicated and costy. And even after you bought your bitcoins, the learning curve is rough, with many new things to learn for a newcomer, such as the addresses, the private keys, the transaction ID, the blocks, etc.

I hope someday all of this will be simplificated. We need it to go mainstream.
You can still learn storing of funds it's not hard at all but if it's someone who is first time using any online payment it can be hard for him. Nonetheless we should never forget everyone starts from scratch if one has the will to trade and make money he will somehow learn it.

No matter how complicated things can get you could always try to analyze it bits by bits, scale it down to things you could understand and relate it to the things you already know. The same principle applies to learning bitcoin; study it bits by bits and that will be the foundation of your knowledge.
Btc is a currency or even asset it isn't some engineering lesson which you can study bit by bit , in starting surely nothing is easy but as time progresses you will learn things automatically.

Well, I think it is indeed too much complicated and harder to use, you have to have knowledge about how it works on internet. You have to make an account, buy bitcoin from different sites ( which takes 5% to 7% Fees) then transfer to exchanges for trading or to use.

How can a normal people, who usually watch youtube video, use fb or other social media, you expect him/her to know all these things? I seen people give up easily, and think it's too techy.

I believe if Bitcoin sell coins on their official website, with lower fees, such as 1% to 2%, and make  a simple wallet for people to use, more & more people would buy and use it.
What is your opinion on it? discuss..

When you use Bank or Online banking, If you have any problem, you can actually go to branch or call the customer service fix the problem, Bitcoin have no phone number, no branch, no one to contact if anything goes wrong.

The desktop wallet are too complicated to use, it has some weird functionality, such as MEW, every time you login, you have to use key chain, or a file as your private key and password, when you get a get it doesn't not show on your account, you actually have to add custom, which is really confusing sometimes. And i always hear people ger hacked, their balanced is gone. which is really scary after all these security in your wallet? strange!

Bitcoin does not have their own official site, so lots of people visit other junk/spam/hacking site, think it is bitcoin site and can get help.

Why most of the exchange does not allow you to buy bitcoin with USD? 99% time you have to transfer money to exchange to do trading or to buy alt coin, which is really a headache. So you tell me, all these problem, why would a normal average people, who doesn't have enough time will invest bitcoin or any other coin? This is rea reason i believe we see the market cap in crypto currency under $200 billion. If it was easy to use, for normal people it would have jump to Trillion dollar.
Here I don't think that these are problems that you discussed , Because the first problem of the fee that you discussed is not a problem but a type of opportunity to make earnings . Because if a people or platform can sell and buy bitcoin with big difference of fee and price than what the market price of the coin then surely here he is making money and also you can start own service to make buy sell that will result into profit for you .
Second thing that I seen in your topic is that have no support or contact to make communication during the problem which we may face in the future with bitcoin , in actual in the bitcoin we are the owner and no one between us and the money , and also we can handle our money ( btc ) just by holding the private key only .
So don't think that we need anything another support to use bitcoin and another parts of its .

So you are implying that the technical features beneath the creation of bitcoin can be learned automatically and is not to be studied bits by bits? If you try to grasp the concept in one go, that's where the complication starts. Also, it is true that the way it plays out on the market is best learned from experience but isn't that like studying bits by bits too since you are (technically) learning by trial and error and you relate your past decisions to make a better call now?

in my opinion is not too complicated and not too difficult it all depends on the wishes of the person they want to go forward what does it matter provided the media for us to ask discussions and guides and working system all its already exist in social media and we can see and learn it

Even i think it is complicated as user who is using normal site for trading also find it difficult to even understand technical language that are used in bitcoin. As there is no proper guiding and info regarding bitcoin in any site on internet. For dealing in bitcoin you need to have proper market knowledge.

I think Bitcoin is not complicated at all, just take it as another transaction method, a digital form of regular money. How many people knows how paper money works? how many people knows the process of issuing paper money? the financial policies? - not more than 1% of world population.
Probably yes it is not complicated but all what required is proper knowledge. Search about bitcoin how it was generated what it is and how it works, once you get proper knowledge then world came in your fist. It is easy in use than the paper money and gives quick and high output. Soon countries will also recognize it due to the ease and comfort which it is providing to the people.

Not at all, I feel it is so simple the bitcoin, it's almost like visa lol.

Just treat it as regular money.

i agree with you, if one is to follow the thread for newbies and reads a lot, it is so simple, just a step by step thingy, just read and read, information is everywhere, you just have to read, most of us are newbies before and it took some time to catch up and get the hang of it, that is good about this site, they teach us to get productive and get rich the harder way.

I think the most problematic part about it is the security of it.
In my opinion people will have a hard time with how to make your account secure.
Although it is not that hard, non tech people won't be thrilled with the process and might give up Midway, where as securingyour "normal" money is way easier.

For example, I'm from Canada, and i was only able to buy bitcoin from coinbase, who has limit $100 per week, they charge 3.5% transaction fee, then when you transfer bitcoin to bittrex, they hit you with another fees, which is $5 to $7, end of the day you get $90 worth of bitcoin. I tried several other sites, which has way way high fees, not sure where you guys buy the bitcoins, i couldn't find any suitable sites yet, so i can buy bitcoin with ease.

Use GDAX. It's linked up with coinbase (same company, really). If you do a market buy, there is still a fee, but it's much less. If you do a limit buy, NO FEES! The catch is you can't use your credit/debit card. You have to do a bank transfer and it takes about a week. Well worth the extra effort though with the $ saved on fees.
No it’s not true that bitcoin is complicated for an average man bitcoin is such a currency which is for every one and any one can use it easily there is no such a tough and hard job in bitcoin it only need a little concentration and the rest of you can do it by yourself so we need to understand bitcoin and then start to use it for your bright future.

Bitcoin is harder to use because most people don't even understand how to use their own smart phone or computer correctly.

There are official exchanges that are legal in every country. Coinbase for USA works pretty well, you buy some coins and withdraw it to your wallet. Never keep it on the exchange. Bitcoin as it is right now doesn't exactly work for micro transactions and that is because the LN isn't implemented yet. When that is implemented it will likely confuse even more people, but it will scale.

Who knows, I don't count on humanity's older people to understand anything tech.

Bitcoin is not complicated for average people, but is expensive for average people. I usually can't afford buying bitcoins. It's really too expensive to have some bitcoin these days. The average people can't buy it freely because of the price.

I can partly agree with this because i think you are right about the expensive part but it is also complicated because at first when i started i knew totally nothing about bitcoin or altcoins and other crypto stuff.

I am a bit confused when I discuss about experiences with people around me and how I make money in the crypto world, my own research to have a full understanding and a lot to learn new things. So the conclusion is that in crypto or btc someone just need a belief to believe ..

I think it is not a hard thing to learn how to use and understand the bitcoin technology. So, there is no need to advanced requirements to use that technology. By a good briefing or a little search, anyone can be a bitcoin user or a trader.

Yes, I think bitcoin is for everyone and no matter what status of your life is you can surely use bitcoin. And for me bitcoin really offers great opportunity specially for those people who wanted to make good money. The system of bitcoin is easy to understand, you just need to make time to study how.
Probably bitcoin is for everyone , anyone can get into bitcoin at anytime, its process is not complicated it is quick easy and simple to be invested. Just needed is to get complete knowledge and proper knowledge then get into some good and promising projects. It gives a great amount of profit which can be either invested back or saved for the future. It help in multiple ways.

There is no such thing as complicated for people who wanted to earn here in Bitcoin. If you want something then I'll guess you will work hard for it. As long as one is willing to learn then it isn't hard to learn things about Bitcoina and everything in it.

Don't you guys agree though that the banks are making stuff easier than ever when this bitcoin classic talk confusses those who are not completely tech savvy. Im old enough to remember when atms were new and considered weird but now the banks are just so simple, they changed their hours to weekends and evening and can go online and just with my friends email addy i could pay a bill or i could send money to any off my canadian friends in 5 minutes for $2.

Bitcoin need to get to that layer of ease before the average person gives involved . A lot of people i know wont buy bitcoin cause they consider it gambling and its way to complicated for them.

Plus the scamming in bitcoin, companies getting robbed, that scares Joe
