Good question.
I agree that some alts may recover completely or even increase, but others may not.
There are a lot of shitcoins and I hope some of them will die, or at least not recover.
I don't think the coins you mentioned have a good growth potential.
Personally I believe in coins with a USP, strong dev team, strong community and so forth.
Maybe you should look at LSK, PIVX, XVG, XRP, NEM, PPC, WAVES, IOTA, DCR, RDD, OMG
Or if you prefer new coins that are more risky but have a huge growth potential, you'd look at WTC, VIB, or upcoming ICOs like Blockstack, Electroneum, IGNIS...

I can suggest SYS, XEL, XLM, GNO and SHIFT.

Also, VTC is a very decent coin that has just been hitted by a correction. But i think price will not drop under 3$ there.

Have to agree with you here. XSPEC is the most undervalued privacy coin in the space right now especially when you compare its market cap to all of the other privacy coins.

In terms of ICOs, I would suggest taking a look at Binarycoin.  It is similar to the other trending lending coins, however it is much more realistic, and also has a very solid whitepaper.  I could easily see this coin launching at around x10 ICO price.  However, get in quick because there isn't much left and it's going fast.  ICO ends at the end of this month, and is hitting exchanges near mid December.  Do you're own research, but it is definitely my number one right now.

Nexus is dirty cheap right now. This coin can easily become the next NEO.
Waves is a great long term hold.
SunContract is another good long term hold.
I would also say SHIFT but I it's a bit risky if you want huge gains. The current price is cheap though, I think it's an easy 2x coin. At least.

For better or worse, alt coins are suffering in terms of BTC value because of the latter's extreme resilience this year. If I were to choose a new alt, I would choose one that launches AFTER the Segwit2x fork. Then it would have a good head start on Bitcoin value, priced in after the 2017 all time highs, and priced in after all the forks. It's a pity that everything else is in decline just because of something they had no control over, but that's all learning to be had from this new world of crypto trading!

If they keep following this trend, IOTA and OMG will be incredibly undervalued after the fork, and maybe even NEO. This also according to how they behaved near the previous BCH and BTG forks.. dropping and then strongly recovering right after the fork.
Other less famous coins which are also taking huge hits and might be riskier but possibly more rewarding I would say are MTH and LINK.

If you just want to make some nice and fast profits in short term, you can gamble a lot of coins like waves, zcash or etc. Ethereum is also a nice profit maker after a fork!

I would go for Waves, Nem and Ardor... Just my two cents, no one knows what the future will bring, but these three are good longterm investments.
