Orocrypt, has announced the launch of its OCG gold backed tokens.  These tokens represent the ownership of 30g of LBMA compliant 99.99% pure bullion gold.  OCG tokens are built on the Ethereum protocol, and are compatible with all Ethereum wallets.
1 OCG = 30 gr of 99.99% pure gold = the market price of 30g of gold.
The OCG tokens are traded like any ERC20 Ethereum token.  They can be freely transferred wallet to wallet and are convertible into bullion gold on demand.  OCG tokens offer gold investors a safe, liquid and private method to own physical gold and an online web platform to buy or sell them.  The company intends to apply for listing in selected decentralized exchanges once the volume reaches a level to justify listing.

Investors must register at the Orocrypt website and be KYC approved before they can buy newly issued tokens.  Then they can transfer the OCG tokens freely with anyone.  OCG owners that are not registered and wish to redeem the OCG tokens for physical gold will need to register with Orocrypt and be KYC approved before delivery.
Orocrypt has made sure that all aspects of the token issuance including holding client funds, issuing digital tokens, procuring and storing gold are open and audited. To reduce the risks of adverse legislation in any one jurisdiction Orocrypt has the bullion stored in secured vaults around the globe. Swiss Gold Safe AG vaults are located in Zurich, Byzantium’s vault is located in the Cayman Islands, while OZL AG vault is in Liechtenstein.  The Swiss and Liechtenstein vaults will be audited by Societe de Surveillance SA.  The bullion gold will be sourced by Rheingold-Edelmetall Liechtenstein and Byzantium Cayman Islands.
Orocrypt will charge a 1% commission fee over gold spot price on the sale of one token or more. The commissions for purchases involving less than one OCG token are 5% for 0.9 to 0.5 tokens and 10% for purchases between 0.1 and 0.5 tokens.  There is also a 0.04% transfer fee when the tokens are transferred between wallets.
Orocrypt is registered in Panama and complies with Panamanian regulations.  The Panama regulator has issued a No Action opinion letter on Orocrypt’s business.  The Orocrypt board is comprised of experienced former bankers, stockbrokers, accountants and senior business professionals.
