So what is the point for mining now, we are still not live...?
Only the simulated mining app/wallet is not live. Mining is well and truly live and so is trading. They had a few hiccups but the working wallet and any funds you may have will be released soon. |

What do you mean what is the point ?? You mine to get coins, depending on the network hash rate you get less or more, but you do get them. I got a normal workstation with 1 1080TI and it is doing around 870 H/s (downgraded to 180W consumption). With a current price that gives me around $3 per day, with $2.2 for energy = $0.8 profit a day. Not worth mining right? Hmmm Sure I can switch to ZEC or any other and get $6 profit per day. That is all when you want to sell at a current price. I am quite certain that the price will drop as low as $0.01 when the dump starts, and then slowly go up to at least $1 this year. In that way of thinking I can theoretically earn not $0.8 per day, but $62. That would be a nice bonus on Christmass. Speaking from investing perspective, you guys should be patient and know that any investment that gives more than 10% gain per year is an awesome one. |

I have been minning in the eupool.electroneum.com pool for the last 12 hours. MY balance is 0!!! YOu hear me Contraband - 0!!!!!! Where are my minded ETN?  What happened to my hashpower??? I want clarification! Hi I want to invite you to join us at easyhash.ioWe pay out every 2 coin and you can easily track your stats on our site I think he just used an adress created with the console wallet, instead of importing it's paper wallet... |

The pool overall is doing well. Using claymore with AMD RX 580's 8GB ...i did receive an error running 8GB vs 4GB (doubled memory mode) so i needed to disable. I am working with 75 KH/s on this pool https://easyhash.io/ and just to attention all noobs - this is CPU crypro, it is not so profitable with VGA, so do not expect great results there, compare to XMR my income is 3 times more, so that's worth. |

One question resides for me:
If I understood correctly ( no native English speaker) Richard told that they do not really plan to run the electroneum owned pools forever, as they look forward to motivating others to create pools. What if - like me - the pending balance won´ t reach the magical line of 100 ETNs to get paid out and they plan to cut off the servers ? Where will this balance go to ?
really? you worry about 5$? 5$ now, but in one or two years ?  I think that was the point, why bother mining now if it is hardly profitable when you can buy $10 ETN, cut the $5 mining loss and see what happens in the upcoming months, or one or two years (or 5 years) for that matter. |

FYI the algorithm favours CPUs but GPUs are still very good and for miners beyond the casual "why not" type of person (i.e. people actually investing in mining) are the best option. |

Simle economy.
One - some people have invested a lot in mining rigs. If they have it - why not use it. They will just pay for electricity, and that is cheaper than buying coins, still cheaper.
Two - some people have more fun in all that mining experience than just buying and selling coins like standard stock
Three - it will eventually align based on the cost of power/gain. If more people will leave mining for buying - miners will get more coins per day since the hash rate will go down.

Great that you guys did open a moderated thread , While I think it is too late to do so and you should have done this much early , It is always better late than never happen  . Now we can have clean thread with only information about the coin without the amount of spam we had on the other thread . |

Has anyone gotten AMD GPU mining working? I have tried using Awesome miner with ccMiner and Claymore but it isn't working. Followed the guide and everything.
i got it working....i had to route it via www.miningrigrentals.com on stratum+tcp://electroneumcoinpool.com:21289 both AMD & Nvida cards are mining on the pool nicely |

Any one had issues withdrawing from crytopia.
My withdrawal of ENT had taken over 24 hours!
Opened a ticket with them and say they are looking into it - but no transaction id provided.
Are they trading with my coins?
Did you confirm the transaction in your email? They send an email and you have to confirm before they payout. Is your wallet in sync? |

Did you confirm the transaction in your email? They send an email and you have to confirm before they payout. Is your wallet in sync?
Confirmed with email, wallet has been synced - have been mining during this time and received payouts from pools! Double check the address you sent it to. Never had an issue like that with Cryptopia. Something must have gone wrong. Hopefully you get it sorted soon bud. |

You can change the settings on CMC to reflect $ instead of BTC But CMC is not live updates. I need to refresh the page to see new price. |
