   ..but it makes no difference when we are figuring the total amount of coins mined per day, no matter if its ASICs or GPUs

Some of the recent posts, it just seems like some people think more coins are mined per day with ASICs.

And dont get me wrong, I know most of you understand this.

Yeah we know that, we (gpu miners) are also selling our mined coins too. But improvements on hashrate for gpus not comparable for asics. I mean there is no way to mine Bitcoin as a gpu miner and no way to dump since the asics has giant hashrate than a gpu. When asics involved hashrate improved 100x 1000x whatever. For example from GH/S to TH/S, but you can not see such an improvement on gpus. I am not blaming asics owners. But asics makers collecting most of the coins privately and dump them while gpu owners trying to mine same coin. And asics buyers knows that there is also improved version of that asics existing and they want their investment back before theirs turns to brick since most of them created for one algo. This is the key point where rallying starts. Gpu owners can switch another algo to get investment back but asics owners don't have such an option. So they have to sold immediately as a nature of business.

I think no matter what they do at this time isn't going to help too much. Money is gone back from bitcoin into fiat (dollar price is rising) and all altcoins are tied to bitcoin. We really need a good solid bull run from bitcoin before the cryptocurrency market as a whole sees an upswing. But if you look at bitcoin, the market is still over all pretty much bearish and who knows when or if that's going to happen any time. Apart from short term buying and selling dips and pumps its all a bit depressing really.

So true - all value from all altcoins going to bitcoin. It is safer and easier to convert, therefore we see bitcoin at almost the same level. And at the same money flowing to fiat, lucky it is very hard to make fiat out of crypto, not so easy as fiat to crypto - this going slowly. And almost no inflow of money in the crypto markets at all, new coins generated every day and they value decrease the older ones. This spiral going to zero except smth increadibly wow happen and money will change direction again. Hobby owners start loosing faith seeing their coins going to ground.

In this post, I will do the electroneum review which is looking like the most promising project by far. But do it is really a promising project or it is a mirage launched just to accumulate bitcoin. Let’s find out in this review.
First of all, I will say that many people newcomers in the crypto field determine the potential of coin by its price analysis which is wrong as per me. Many people judge electroneum just by saying that it has fallen from 0.20 USD to 0.01 USD so that’s why it is shitcoin. Don’t judge anything just by its one aspect there are lot better aspects as well. Also, don’t believe in the method of taking huge profits overnight.
Technical aspect of electroneum
First of all, electroneum is the first cryptocurrency developed in Britain. Its main motive is to make a platform for instant crypto payments and make crypto more people friendly. So they have tested their beta application for instant crypto payments and also they have filed a patent application for this unique payment technology.

They have signed an agreement with xius making a user reach of 65 million which sounds very good. Electroneum is the first cryptocurrency to be invited in GSMA in MWC 2018 in Barcelona. They have signed agreements in place to develop Electroneum payment integration for over 1.2 million agents, dealers and distributors in over 9 countries to make a reach of 130 million people. They are trying to increase the number of methods to spend electroneum also across the world.

Electroneum also introduced a subscription system in the electroneum patent. This shows that they are very aggressive in their backend developing that’s why financers like yahoo believed in them. Subscription system is like you can set a subscription for a particular vendor for monthly basis. People can easily set amount of US dollars or ETN for that vendor.

The option for other cyptocurrencies will be introduced next year. First, they want this system to be operational for electroneum then they will bring other cryptos as well in order to increase the payment modes with other coins.

Criticism of electroneum due to misconceptions
There are some misconceptions as well due to which gives some space to bad criticism. Some people criticize electroneum by saying that mobile miner of electroneum is fake. Now let us understand this electroneum mobile miner aspect in a broader way. First of all the main motive of electroneum is to make a platform for vendors which enables instant crypto payments. Now electroneum mobile miner is launched with a motive for people to understand cryptocurrency is a simpler way. It is launched just with a motive to introduce crypto to normal non-technical person.

I completely agree that electroneum mobile miner is a cloud miner, not an actual mobile miner. But we have to understand that the blockchain technology on which cryptocurrency is based is just used by 1% people in the world. So in order to increase mass adoption and making people understand what cryptocurrency is mobile miner is launched. It does not matter whether it is a mobile miner or a cloud miner. Once again I am saying electroneum main motive is to create an instant crypto payment system for vendors in order to increase mass adoption.

What I understood from one update on social media was that internal testing is going on before beta testing. I have not been around here for long time but social media was my only means in all this period to keep me connected with development. Electroneum is flying under the radar and once the markets are little stable it will be flying again.

If this was true, we should have kept relative market cap position. However, in January, ETN was number 44 on the list and today it is 118th (source: coinmarketcap).

To put that into perspective, Ethereum Classic was 18th in January (at a price of 0.00161587 BTC) and today it is 15th (the ETC price has increased to 0.00182223 BTC).

Good point. I only watch price in btc. In may price was around 800sat and the cmc place was #70... I see shitcoins that kept ther place thru the "storm"... And I don't understand why ETN just keep going down... I know that we are now in bear market but ETN is in freefall market... Why???

The price of all projects is falling sharply because the overall market is sluggish, you just have to pray and thank you for the team still doing something.
