What is the main way Scorum will generate revenue?

Good question, will there be fees?

Scorum's revenue will be generated from three sources:

1. Advertising and article promotion within the blogging platform. Authors will be able to promote their posts at a nominal rate of .01 SCR per click which is significantly lower than other CPC ad costs. This advertising will be purchased in SCR and the revenue from ads will be split according to this framework:

2. Scorum will welcome partners to sell their sports goods or services within the platform. As the user audience grows, this will be more and more favorable for other businesses within the sports industry. Paired with the blogging platform where athlete representatives can promote the goods of their sponsors and the utility to pay for goods and services with SCR accumulated in user's accounts, the partner programs will give Scorum members an easy and efficient means to spend SCR without needing to exchange it externally.

3. The photo database will offer sports photographers a place to showcase their work and offer high-resolution images for sale to sports fans around the world. From this, Scorum will collect 10% while the author will get 80% and the final 10% goes into the reward pool for active photographers.

With these three revenue streams designed to both sustain Scorum and reward the community for its activity within the platform, we won't need to charge fees for other popular services such as daily fantasy sports or the betting exchange. These commission free services will naturally expand the audience of sports fans interested in utilizing SCR within the platform.

That's a definite perk to a platform like this. How much do you expect the average customer to spend on Scorum, over their lifetime?

It's hard to get an average, because a whole lot of people will spend as little as possible, but at the same time they will be earning SCR if I'm understanding this platform correctly.

It truly is hard to predict at this point. One of the dynamics I've noticed while using Steemit is that an initial "buy-in" to boost your posts can lead to more visibility in your posts and therefore a higher reward pay-out for the author and commenters/curators. Even among the most die-hard sports fans, the amount of money they spend on sports-related purchases varies widely. What we're presenting is the chance gain value (in SCR and SP) for engaging in the active sports community.

For some, that may mean writing and publishing sports coverage and building a loyal reader audience. For others, it will mean winning big in fantasy sports or placing wagers. Remember, we're focused on the merits of decentralized economy so it will be up to the individual users to utilize SCR and the Scorum platform in ways that enrich their fan experience through their own efforts. To focus wholly on the utility of SCR, we're including parts of the platform where fans can spend their accumulated SCR on sports-related purchases like live streams or tickets to events or even sports merchandise.

Minsk was happy to host the Blockchain Fairytales Christmas conference. Cool

Blockchain innovators from around the world discussed new ideas and brainstormed solutions to the challenges that the technology is facing. For a bit of fun, Scorum advisor Anton Kulichkin introduced the game Blockchainpoly for everyone to play. It's monopoly meets decentralization as players compete to win the most "cryptocurrency". Grin

cyber • Fund and Ok16 creative space pulled together a great crowd to show that Minsk is a growing center for continuing innovations in technology! Cheesy

Do you guys have any partnerships?

I'm still curious about this.

If you have none, are you looking for partnerships actively?

One of our most recent partnerships to grow more interest in the betting exchange is with SigMA and the Malta Gaming Conference.

That's an interesting partnership. What do you think SigMa brings to the table for you guys?

Is SigMa the ones running the MGC?

I'm assuming there's no worries when it comes to regulatory risks?

That's great, I can tell you guys are experienced business men. I've asked this question a dozen times or so. About half have decent answers, and half are like "uhh, we're selling tokens?"

Excellent revenue plan.

Yes, SiGMA runs the MGC. The sports betting industry is well established around the world so offering our blockchain-based betting solution to companies that are already powerhouses in the gambling world gives Scorum a better opportunity for rapid adoption. We'd rather partner with and improve the industry than "disrupt" it by trying to compete head-on. These are very progressive companies for the most part and they clearly see that blockchain and cryptocurrency can be a great innovation and a beneficial alternative to fiat currencies for the betting world.

I'm assuming there's no worries when it comes to regulatory risks?

Given what happened last week with the Munchee ICO, we're in close discussion with our legal partners in San Francisco to monitor and adapt to the regulatory stance of the SEC.

Yeah, the best thing you can do is just get good legal council familiar with this industry. Might I ask who your legal partners are?

For local and European regulatory advice, we rely on Revera Consulting Group, a top business law firm with 18 years of experience working with over 3000 international clients.

We also cooperate with Velton-Zegelman PC, based in San Francisco. Their firm has years of experience guiding tech start-ups to navigate the international regulation of blockchain and cryptocurrency. Julian Zegelman (Linkedin), partner of the company, has also entered our advisory board.
