This is a very convenient and comfortable wallet for me. I am very surprised when I hear bad reviews. Apparently people just do not follow the rules.. If used correctly, it is a very safe wallet. I do not see any problems.

My advice is the best combo for secure our fund is Hardware wallet + Myetherwallet, I use it's for daily transfer and it's easy to use, most important is nobody can spy your private key and steal your fund, anyway Myetherwallet easy to manage all my ERC20 Tokens, You must try it

I think if not everyone is using MyEtherWallet then most of us do.
MyEtherWallet is my first wallet since last year an I am using it until today and have found no issues at all.
MyEtherWallet is one of the safest and more  secure wallet if you do take care of your private keys and don't let hackers and Hijackers take your wallet keys then it's totally fine.

Most of altcoins that I am holding are ERC20 platform coins so myetherwallet is my best choice.
As of now, I don't have any hardware wallets like Ledger Nano S or Trezor so I am good with myetherwallet and as long as I don't expose my wallet private keys to anyone so I know I can rely on myetherwallet to hold together all my Altcoins in a single wallet.
