IOTA will be a really big thing in future. As the developer Sonstebo told before that there will be amazing news and we only know 10 % of it at the moment. The partnership with BOSCH shows us that there will be other very known partners.

At the moment there is a new partnership with Sopra Steria. An european IT-Group for management and technology consulting.
Together they will built up a new framework to optimize the secure of IOT-applications against like Denial-of-Service-Attacks (DOS).

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

IOTA has hired Cybercrypt to help them auditing and improving the cryptography behind IOTA: https://blog.iota.org/iota-foundation-hires-cybercrypt-615d2df79001

Quote
CYBERCRYPT’s founder Andrey Bogdanov has co-designed such prominent lightweight cryptographic algorithms as PRESENT and SPONGENT — both internationally standardized by ISO/IEC. SPONGENT is a leading lightweight hash function in the sponge family that Curl also belongs to. PRESENT is considered the lightweight cryptographic primitive with more than 1500 citations.

This just shows how professional the approach of the IOTA foundation is.
With the freeing up of several tens of millions of USD donations, they have also the financial basis to vastly expand their developer team.

In my opinion, I don't think that I will choose IOTA for my portfolio now. Its price is a peak now. It will decline soon

price swing up and down as always, the reason why IOTA could be capped right now is total market capitalization in my opinion since it is already on top 10 (or close to it) and there is no big room for growth unless bitcoin and other top move a lot higher

My opinion is that iota will bring in corporate money as it solves a very real problem. Anything under a dollar is a gift.

IOTA sure does look good now.  I hear a lot of great things about it but people say the tech is not complete and the wallet has problems.  The only thing stopping me from investing into this coin.  IOTA has a lot of potential but with some many new coins coming out or already out my attention is elsewhere (cross my fingers and hope this isn't the biggest mistake in crypto investing).

I am so glad you took a look into this project. Because it is a similar feeling like investing in ETH at 10 USD or XMR at under 5 USD or even less.
This market is so flooded with useless crap, the IoT Hype is about to start very soon and IOTA will grow with it. I have predicted 30-40 billions market cap in 2018.
Now I can even imagine IOTA beating the current BTC market cap in not so far future. We are buying here into pure gold.

It is solving a real problem and the market cap of the "problem" namely IoT will be a dominating hype word in 2018-2020.
Honestly I think the whole cryptomarket could be served with ETH, XMR and IOTA and maybe Chainlink to solve the oracle problems for ETH and IOTA.
Thats it. No need for other crypto.

Read this text about Augmate, they will use IOTA and will work with a bunch of Fortune500 companies: https://www.digitaltrends.com/wearables/augmate-vision-smart-glasses-workplace/

but people say the tech is not complete and the wallet has problems.  The only thing stopping me from investing into this coin.

Funny that was the thing which made me buy IOTA. Cheesy
People said the same about XMR as it had no GUI wallet and was around 2 USD.

Some offered me to pay me for calls, but just donate something for a good cause and I am fine and right now I dont have another good call, beside maybe Chainlink Wink , which still has a small market cap and could solve a huge problem. ETH, XMR, IOTA. Those 3 are my bets. I hold NEO too in case China decides to bet on their own network. And Chainlink. Thats it.

Chainlink has been on my observation list for some time. I bought a small stake but the price decrease has stopped me to buy a bigger stake. I could not really found out why the price has dropped that much in contrary to the general bullish crypto market. Do you have any more information? I would like to see you making a post about Chainlink similar to this one Wink

Yes I know that with Ivancheglo, but now he showed a cryptographic proof for beeing the inventor of PoS and thats nice.
Also interesting that Vitalik seems a little bit afraid to go into discussions with him. Cheesy
It is good to see such a mind on board of IOTA.

That is right. He did not give a cryptographic proof yet. But I think, why should such a brilliant mind adorn himself with borrowed plumes?

Huh? He signed a bitcoin tx. What more proof do you need?

They will not only add smart contracts on IOTA tangle but even tokens on top of IOTA.
It will be a better scaling ETH with no fees.

Yet the companies will use the IOTA token for value transfer. Imagine you drive an intelligent car, send sensor data to a company about your surrounding and recieve microtransactions as payment for that.
Mobility Lab: https://youtu.be/ZiJHEQuvFuU

There is no second project like IOTA, maybe ETH, but I think IOTA will be bigger.
I enjoy the laughs I get when I tell people that IOTA will have a market cap of 100 billion USD. I prefer to laugh later. Cheesy

I bought pretty cheap into Chainlink around 17 cent. Maybe if I find some time I could do a writeup, but there are alredy some interesting articles about how Chainlink wants to make a decentralized oracle for smart contracts (nodes, aggregation of newsfeeds). It could push Chainlink from 60 millions USD easy to 1 billlion and later more.

I was aiming $0.8 for iota, it's awesome to see others also aim even greater prices. I hope iota keeps making their improvement without getting a break in the roadmap. The rest will be the best for iota owners, holders.

IOTA is something you buy and forget about for years.  Chances are this IS the next BTC when it comes to 'the internet of things'.  It might explode to absurd proportions where the sky is the limit or it could just not.  Smiley

This is a (and the sole) coin I have and don't trade until the profit hits 4-5 digits.

We do not understand the value of IOTA now, but much more will be discussed in the future.

I like IOTA but at the moment is an idea, is a very high risk investment and I personally prefer low risk investments.

I think this is good project. So why do you say it very high risk?
Is that because you have wait long?
Ioata now is almost on ten top in market. So its good.

I think  it is high risk becasue of the size of the project and the long time plan. It is hard to keep interest with investors and people for a long time since most want to get a return on their investment directly. That is why so many people are swingtrading instead of just keeping the coins they believe in despite what anyone is saying about the coin.

IOTA is an ambitious project and despite being a top ten crypto it should be considered a high risk investment (even when considering cryptos a high risk investment in of itself).

Bigger risk is not to hedge by investing in the guy who invented POS.

IOTA will be listed on the Korean exchange Coinone. Will be interesting when Bittrex adds it too, probably Bithumb won`t wait too long. Those listings could happen approximately at the same time when the IOTA Foundation will announce their partnerships, which they are still keeping secret. We could see basically a price rise up to 5-10 billion USD market cap and after that its over, high awareness and positive cycle will result in higher prices.

TBH, I'm hoping we go sub .50, but don't think that's likely.
