Iota has a great project. I've a few Iotas myself and I believe in them, but it's just not working like it should. Plus their wallet is buggy and not intuitive at all. I fear this is too complicated for a regular user and might be something that will create a barrier between Iota and massive adoption from people. Unless they make it better and simple, of course. If they get there, I think in theory Iota can become even better than bitcoin in a decade or so, but it's a long way, who knows what can happen?

I bought 14k MIOTA and 1,9k WAVES 1,5 months ago (total of 15k $).
This 2 will be High Performer in 2018 or 2019.
It's a long term investment, but trust me, they will explode, maybe not now but they will!
Especially IOTA will be a game changer in the cryptoworld.

I couldn't agree more with you. I also bought IOTA and WAVES two months ago and I'll be holding them because I'm sure that its price will raise.

IOTA is a very potential coin that may rise anytime soon because this alternate coin has a huge market capital next to bitcoin cash. Maybe if not for bitcoin's surge recently, this altcoin may have also its own price hike.

I did a couple trades on this one, but didn't get any to hold yet and regretting it. I want in for the long haul so I'll have to buy at the higher price.

IOTA is quite a good project but it is hyped at the moment because some big companys joined. If you take a look at the details of how IOTA works it reveals some problems and difficulties though.

Which exchange do you use to buy Waves on? The current one I'm on doesn't offer BTC to Waves and I have heard nothing but good things about this currency. I want to get in before it spikes. It's currencly at ~$10 a piece but I can see it go up to around 13-15$

On coinmarketcap.com you see all exchanges for every coin and their pairs. Have a deep look into it.

Yes it is! IOTA is becoming more popular in the cryptocurrency world! I have read a article that IOTA can now be trade in bittrex. I think IOTA has a bright future like other altcoins.

It's not the first time I've seen information that says that gaming platforms have a very strong influence on the world of cryptography. If there is a connection with the crypto currency, then Many believe that the games only hammer the chain.

The thing that pisses me off about IOTA is the ongoing snapshots, disappearing balances(having to generate new addresses in a new wallet to get the funds back) and loss of access to your coins when the devs decide to move them all to an address they control and you have to wait a month for them to release a new tool to try and get them back.

Is IOTA decentralised when at any time the dev team can literally take your funds and move them to an address only they control without your pre approval?

I do hold some IOTA but my main investment is KMD.  So much going on with this project you would be crazy to ignore it.

same feeling nere mate, does have no big believe in Iota..the project
wasn't enough to satisfy my needs and regarding to the issues they have
facing,so if we are realy aware of making our funds safe make sure that
you will be investing in more responsible coins.and ofcourse its not Iota i
will leave to you the privilege of searching of best and reliable coins.

Goodluck for your journey to make on top

You should get into Iota. But not right now. This month will be extremely volitile, and the first months of 2018 will be as well. Bitcoin is about to dip pretty hard due to a combination of weak new money coming in and the huge market manipulation that is going to happen from big companies buying into Crypto, the big trades starting in December. Crypto is still pretty unregulated. The wild west. Don't buy. Wait for the dip. It's coming very soon. You still have time.

They never claimed there was. If so, please show this press release or whatever.
TheNextWeb just made that stuff out of the Marketplace announcement calling it "Microsoft and IOTA launch first..." IOTA never claimed such a thing. And now comes the most ridiculous part: TNW now claims that IOTA lied about it. This is a joke.

Now a slight decline in the price, I think in a couple of days it will drop more and need to be purchased. The coin is promising, I think to buy.

just read this article here : https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/iota-price-drops-co-founder-admits-microsoft-not-partner-participant/

I don't know but iota admins could have informed about this at some earlier point... dont you agree?? This is one of reasons to question and to be afraid of investing huge amounts of money into IOTA... Just like Monero hyping up price just to be BS ... Be carefull people Smiley it's a mean world and everyone is out to get your money ....
