What's old news?

The office was anounced in the last 24 hours.

As for IOTA being broken, it's being used right this very moment.

Summary from Moscow Meetup from an attendee (quoted material in italics):

Hey! Just came back from IOTA Moscow meetup! Some of the news from the talk/presentation of Cfb and Max Minchenkov:

--IOTA will move from PoW to Network-bound PoW in the future. It's an unique thing and details are not available.

--smart contracts are in development. ETA is this year. It will be done not like eth smart contracts, but done in functional programming paradigm/style.

--Max Minchenkov said that IOTA are doing a solution together with CISCO for an undisclosed oil company, where IOTA will provide software and CISCO hardware. No ETAs or any other info.

--Ternary hardware is still in development. It will be ternary CPU and Li-Fi. No ETAs or any other info.

--Cfb is more on hardware part now, other team members do work on IRI.

Thanks for all these updates generalizethis. Really appreciate it.
Imo IOTA is by far one of the safest bets out there. Probably it will still take some time until people realize that. At the end of Q1 most will have gotten it I think.

getting curios about this project as I'm reading your updates seems that there's a big rise up coming up from this coin and better to start reading more about in order to invest wisely, so smart contracts will be finished this year as mention above is there any particular months aside from generalizing it
this year? I'll be keep watching this thread for more updates and start collecting little by little.

Thank you. Feel like cryptimus prime did us all a favor with this thread and keeping the news flowing is the least I could do in return.

So IOTA has now a supervisor near to BMW and one from Volkswagen and one from Bosch Venture Capitals. Giants of the car industry. Grin
The price of IOTA is funny right now, but I guess most will wait for a pump up to 6 or 10 USD, then it will be interesting for them.
It is crazy considering the potential IOTA has: 50-100 billion market cap in 2018-2019. This would bring the price between 15-30 USD.

To make such gains with a really valuable and sustainable project which you can hold like a good stock, instead of Pump&Dump, is nearly impossible nowadays.
It seems the new wallet is nearly finished, this could be the sign for the exchanges to add IOTA. Sonstebo has also said that further news around IOTA and Volkswagen will follow soon.

For those interested in TA, checkout the IOTBTC chart 1-Day view on Tradingview.
Looks nice hmm? A bull pennant like from a school book. Wink

So. i guess that you are really trying to hype this shit? You are not human mate, or you do not even have a common sense.
Iota means shit, they have the same amount of letters.

And we all know that it is full of issues, their wallet is crap too, no one cares about the dev's or who is on the team.

You mean a team focused on M2M isn't producing an idiot-proof P2P wallet? Tell me more...

I am not sure about that, because right now there are many people waiting for their funds to re-appear in their wallets. Reclaims are not working for many people. Maybe wee see more dumps after finish of the reclaim process.

Reclaims have been successful--I'm sure some have dumped, but in the end it doesn't matter as being a successful M2M platform is what pays the bills. All these idiots focusing on P2P don't get that IOTA will be or won't be the backbone of the IOT--P2P is an already crowded secondary market with coins that have had 5+ year head start. M2M is a trillion dollar bet and the IOTA Foundation is focused on winning it, not competing with Ripple or Bitcoin or any of the 1000 other P2P coins. If you haven't figured that out by now, there's no hope for you at this point, so feel free to ignore IOTA.

Exmo.
