Let's say Bitcoin (and all alts) goes to zero because Nakamoto was wrong Smiley. What could I do with 50 GPUs besides selling them, have fun with my kids (and the whole school) or replace my home heater with them?

Any ideas that have been implemented? Like starting a "gaming center" or process proteins...

Crack some WPA passwords...  Mine litecoin...  sell them on eBay.  Let them age in your closet until you dispose of them.

Erm, I think ASICs are going to make your GPUs worthless before something happens to Bitcoin.

You can use them for Folding@Home - protein simulation to try and find cures for diseases.

But if I were you I'd sell the cards, all of them except for maybe 2 or three to have an awesome gaming machine with.

Don't worry your 50 GPUs will definitely die or obsolete before Bitcoin dies if possible

Offer guantanamo style services to the US govt (arrange all 50 GPUs in a small room with a prisoner, running BTC, the noise and heat after a number of weeks should be enough to break any man).

Sell them quick enough before the market is flooded with newer and better GPUS that ultimately put yours into no purpose

My estimated time of Bitcoins dieing (lets say?) the year: 2020. Don't ask why I think the year 2020. I'm just speculating.
(I hope that doesn't happen) but your GPUS will be no good in 2020.

Let's say Bitcoin (and all alts) goes to zero because Nakamoto was wrong Smiley. What could I do with 50 GPUs besides selling them, have fun with my kids (and the whole school) or replace my home heater with them?

Open up a Computer Cafe for gaming

This is the option thay I like the most. Are there any good ideas out there around this? I was thinking of some private "Gaming bunker" with 30 high-end gaming computers and lots of noice coming from Counter Strike's guns Smiley

Like it?
