No, calling Bitcoin is not greedy. Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency. if we invest in Bitcoin as well as collect bitcoin we will be profited. so we should hold Bitcoin to be profited and it is not the matter of greediness.

I don’t know where this idea came from but I really do not see a bad idea especially the term greedy in holding bitcoin. It’s just only means investing and investing is never been a bad thung but one of the clever thing to earn a higher profit that would benefit people.

No this is a very inappropriate term.It cannot be called a greed.Everyone in this world wants to earn money as well as profits.Bitcoin is a medium by which any person can earn money.Holding bitcoins is a very profitable deed for the future.Holding bitcoin just means waiting for the price rise in the future.Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency.A lot of people also invest in bitcoin because they know that bitcoin gives them a lot of profit rates in a short period of time.

I believe greed has a moral consequence that needs to be assess, meaning is your act of holding bitcoin coming at the expense of others?

People save money, therefore hold money, to spend on things in the future. The concept of investing is built around the idea that a dollar invested is worth tomorrow than it is today. Is this greed? I don't think so.

I think greed needs to come with a negative consequence. What do you think?
I solely agree with you. For each investment, the investor wants maximum output and return on investment. He invest his money and keep his investment for a long time to maximize profit. He is not illegally grabing others money. He might face loss too while holding his investment for a long time. So, if you hold your bitcoin investment, you are bearing risk too. Nothing to be greed here.

Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?
I don't think holding bitcoin for long is a sign of greed. For some, it's just an investment strategy, and they think it's going to be great, and it's going to go up. I think people who trade bitcoin for a short period of time are more greedy.

When they say that the crypto-currencies do not have any commodity (material) security, they mean that not only the issuer of a private digital currency does not provide it with property, but that this CCE does not come into contact with the world of goods. In extreme cases, it can come into contact with official currencies on special exchanges and trading floors. It is at such sites that "temperature" is determined in the "reserve", called the "world of crypto-currencies". More ideal scheme for speculators and scams is difficult to come up with. I hope that I said enough to make an obvious conclusion: crypto-currencies are not money. And what is it? - Gambling tool. Even more harshly: it is a tool of robbery of "suckers", who are dragged into the world of crypto-currency by hook or by crook.

Of course No.  Holding bitcoin does not mean that we are greedy.
It is a wise investment decision
it is a trader's strategy to hold the bitcoin and then sell it in its peak
Having bitcoin and holding it is sort of securing it for the good future

It is not greedy at all, for me what most greedy is spreading some fake news or exaggeration so that members here will panic and with that the tendency is that people will gonna go panic selling and make that chance to buy bitcoin.

Holding bitcoin doesn't mean being greedy. It's more on the strategy about how to get more profits from bitcoin. People who hold bitcoin for a long period are the winner since they aren't afraid of losing or taking any risks. If you thought that you get nothing by holding bitcoin, then actually have lost.

Yeah.
Because of everyone is greedy and of course traders and investors are greedy too. People invest in bitcoin because it brings in high profits in a short time that is why they are greedy.

They are the people who truly believe in the future growth of Bitcoin. Why should we worry in hodling? We should worry on selling immaturely. We should worry in reacting to a red market too much and convert out Bitcoins out of panic.

Everyone wants to get more profit from bitcoins. If you have invested huge amount and bitcoin course falls before you sold your bitcoins, then of course it`s will be huge loss, and if investment amount was small, then you can take a chance. People just thinking if bitcoin course is only growing now and does not fall, then it will continue growing, so they are waiting for the right moment.

We can't say anything in regards to it. It's up to those individuals nature who are holding for what sort of purposes on the grounds that there are many sorts of individuals some of them are putting away for future and some of them are putting away from voracity. Yet, one thing is certain that insatiability individuals can't store bitcoin effortlessly. Since as they see the cost of bitcoin high straightforwardly they go for pull back there bitcoin.

I don't think that holding bitcoin is a kind of greed. You can just keep it in hope that it will achieve price you want and then you sell it.

"Is holding bitcoin Greedy?"

oh another pump of an old thread posted back in November 2017 I see.

Desperate to push new posts down they be but to address the question it's not greedy today
because the value of Bitcoin is falling and is on a nice downwards trend and it started falling just after
fees peeked at $55 per transaction.

I know, lets blame Putin or Russia and if we say it often enough then people will believe it right  Cheesy

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.
