Well glad it went well for you.  I mined in this pool for a short spell today and when i saw i could not get paid hitting the 100 mark , i jumped out.  I noticed some heavy players were jumping in and out , must have discovered the same.

Maybe they need to fix something however I got returned e mail when I tried to send a 'heads up' note to the support e mail listed on the site.

I would not suggest mining in this pool until this is all sorted out , personally I may never return.

I understand mistakes happen and this is nickles and dimes. Still if you have an e mail address up and it is not working for support you may do better to just use a valid e mail address and not answer people !! lol

no hard feelings but figured it was worth a note here.

come mine while diff is still low, at the pool that has been up and running since launch Smiley

http://emd.scryptmining.com

I was probably one of the others. I have had good experiences using the coinminer.net pools up until this issue. I currently have 65 coins stuck there and value went from $15 to 7.50 in that time. After realizing the pool had stopped confirming I moved on and took my 8 mh with me until things are resolved assuming I get my coins worthless by that time or not, lol.

Yeah I noticed something was wrong yesterday... I just tried it back a few minutes now and still no share are getting counted while I have found a block... Don't mine there yet... if you want to get paid that is !

So I'm confused here...are you saying your having problems @ http://emd.scryptmining.com ?  If so, what are they?  And the support email is valid and working fine from what I can tell....

Ahh I was talking about the franko site...seems my 65 coins are now gone. Guy is a scammer IMO....hence the "as-is". This was easily fixable and he knows it which is why you cannot contact him.

Hello,

"emerald-qt" shows the following error:

The number of blocks which are to be loaded, agrees exactly with the block chain of Litecoin. The same problem also have some other Altcoins.

Please fix it.

if the dev becomes inactive it doesn't mean that it was an scam.
Maybe he just dropped it.

I had a pretty good stash of EMD, but sold them to buy MEC when they were almost 5 times the current price. Looking like a good move.

There have been tons on new altcoins released without much thought or real purpose. I think many of them won't last long, and a few will likely compete with Litecoin.
My best bets would be Megacoin and possibly CGB.

this one on exchange for a month now, 400K (actually he distributed quite some for giveaways and bounties) would have been dumped long ago, I think it's the traders who dump, I suspect more a dump-pump-dump thing. Surprised to see the price so low, I put a buy order, never got hit though.

I see no problems of EMD at all, all my 3 wallets are in sync and I have been mining it. The price is down because of some traders selling, someone dumped at very low price early today, then the price recovered.

I am not good at hyping the coin, but I can ensure you that the coin is solid. If you see problems, please report them here. If you have sync problems, clean up the config dir (but keep wallet and config file, you can keep the peer.dat too), and sync from scratch, usually it fixes the sync problem.

My wallet was syncing perfectly until a few weeks ago. That is about when the price started dropping.
