Do you know whether burnin pursues 'serious' plans of making a BFL board? Is he going to receive sample chips beforehand? I'd certainly hope so!
Or are those just rumors?

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

As far as I know he did express his willingness to do that. Not sure about chips and time of start. I think his words were(not sure if this was him) that he will start as soon as he will end his work on K16. As far as I know they are ready and were ready at the time of this statement so I guess he was referring to his work on GBs so your guesses are as good as my... Or he thinks he can make them better...

OH SORRY
see here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179769.msg2554283#msg2554283

my mistake bfl != bitfury

But that's a totally relevant post since burnin expresses his intention to rather develop a bitfury board, than a BFL one!
On the other hand, Bitfury is interesting. But will the chips be available, will there be board makers... Outside of Russia?

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

no more than 1 btc for 1st pound of weight via FedEx express... this is rough... it may be lowered by as much as .2 btc (based on todays exchange rate ofcourse) when I actually ship.  shipping costs will simply be a pass through...

I know it's hard at this time to estimate the cost of a board and to estimate how long it will take to design and produce.

Is there any ballpark cost or time frame numbers available?

All info is public and pretty much gets posted as soon as it becomes available on forums here.

Will be price reduced if I provide my coupons?
From where chips will be snet and shipping is included or no?
Is there any other expenses, like taxes or customs, added to basic price? (I dont mean taxes and duties at my country)?

Thank You.

I dont think OP make much for .57 each chip and all work + buy 100 chips for shipping cost.

ps: some group buy charge you 5us on top with chip code for work.

Newbie here!
What I didn't understand is how much more should we expect to pay here for a working unit with these chips (say I am interested in 8 chips)? Is there an estimate?
