I would choose Ethereum, Waves and trade tokens . Ethereum and Waves can't lose their value and both expected to rise highly in short amount of time. Also there is so many promising ICOs which have good team and clear white papers. So investing in such projects could be really profitable in the long run.

The first one would be ethereum as I'm seeing a new ERC token everyday in the market. I guess kick will have a better future do I'll definitely buy it, also they give dividends so it's like investment. I would also buy coins which have a good community support like bitsend and ZenCash. So diversification would be my preferable choice.

This is not different than other threads but I'll give you some hints anyway. If I invest 1 BTC to 3 altcoins I would pick like that:
0.35 BTC worth ETH, 0.35 BTC worth WAVES, 0.30 BTC worth NEO. You can replace NEO with OMG or TAAS. I think that's very good portfolio for starters.

If I where to gamble, I would look at Litecoin. Litecoin is becoming increasingly interesting due segwit on both chains now, due atomic crosschain transactions up and coming lightning network.

Monero would also get some BTC if I wanted to invest in the future of anonymous coins.

Finally and as a big risk:big reward bet: Poswallet is looking pretty nice with the rebranding and introduction of TPoS technology.

I guess I would diversify this one BTC into all the top ten coins (except for BTC). Or I would invest it in a very promising ICO, but one that is really worth investing in, not some shady ICO. However I think I would go with the first proposal, it bears way less risk and will likely also bring huge profits if you wait some time.

One Btc is good enough to turn into investment. You can invest in eos, waves and bitcoincash after it drops to buyable levels of course. Currently investing in altcoins is a little risky because market is very unstable. Wait a bit and then buy these or some other high potential alt coins from lower prices.
