I tend to believe that ICO is a modern Ponzi method right now because we can see a lot of scam ICOs although not all. More than 50% of all ICOs are scam and it is very alarming and i do hope that things change and this scamming activities will be gone forever.

SOmetimes its a new way to get free money. Thats when theres an fake ico and the devs go away with the money. Happens a lot, so watch out for scam ICO's. Always read the white paper and analyse the project!

In my opinion only a few ICOs have real potential. Many of them dont have a real concept or are just scams. You really have to be careful. Its all about your own research and the time you spend on selecting the right projects.
