Jaxx or Coinomi for mobile are probably the two most commonly used.

I tried Jaxx wallet but i left it for the high fees they deduct each transaction
but whether the jaxx wallet can accept any coin because maybe people keep using it when profitable and make it easier

Actually you have to know that if a coin with full blockchain like Neo, Nxt then you have to download their own wallet and store coins there. Only their coins can store in their wallet. With tokens born from Eth, you can use myetherwallet.com to store all that tokens.

MyEthWallet is a good choice. It gives you wide variety of alcoins and you are able to view their market status. If you want an app wallet, you can try ImToken but as of now, some of the new altcoins are not available for that wallet.

Which wallets are the best for keeping a wide variety of altcoins?
I see there is only one single wallet in crypto is a bitcoin wallet but inside it contains some exchange address feature for altcoin and it is the local bitcoin wallet that I use today. but if you ask about an altcoin wallet that I know is MyEtherWallet as the wallet of all altcoins most used by crypto users for now. I think MyEtherWallet is a pretty safe wallet with a pripasi key that we have but right now I have not seen a wallet in the alignment in an altcoin storage for one type of altcoin. so I think for now you can use MyEtherWallet wallet like I did but I highly recommend to you to keep your pepper key from MyEtherWallet purse secretly and just enough you know that there is no theft of assets crypto you have.

Everyone is using myetherwallet because this is one of the best and trusted wallet that will prevent wallet key hack from the bad guys. I only use Ethereum all this time since early this year.

I just got a Nano ledger to store my coins and I couldn't be happier. So nice to have a peaceful mind not worrying about hacking.

I'm currently using a MyEtherWallet it is good and smooth transaction.

There is none better wallet than myetherwallet and particularly for ERC20 and everyone who has Altcoins are using myetherwallet due to multiple coins can be stored in a single wallet that is myetherwallet is capable of handling multiple coins even thousands of them.

I prefer choosing an exchanger site for it, I'm just more familiar with bittrex site as a wallet of some altcoins that I have. In addition can be used for trading / investing, it really proves safety and comfortable to do trading and investing in it.
You guys are using myetherwallet.. isn't myetherwallet only special for ethereum and some kind of tokens only? and not provided for other altcoins wallet.

Which wallets are the best for keeping a wide variety of altcoins?

My friends who have a lot of tokens from different campaigns uses myetherwallet and I rarely heard him about any negative issues about his wallet except the one time he's computer files got corrupted including his wallet infos. He lost access to those wallet including all his tokens but I guess it is just part of their security measures and he accepted that it is his own negligence of not having a backup file for his wallet.

I diversify the risks-I keep some of the tokens in myetherwallet and store some of the tokens on the exchange.
For stratis, waves, bitcoin, I have separate wallets on my computer. I think that you do not need to store all the tokens in one place.

Myetherwallet. Exodus desktop wallet is also pretty great, though not all alt coins can be stored in it. The UX is beautiful though

So far I only use a single bitcoin purse, because in it there are several coin exchange addresses that I know of. and I also use MyEtherWallet to store the tokens I have because I think MyEtherWallet is pretty secure with a unique private key.
