Mira includes the features of both exchanges and wallets, the main difference is that we offer a solution for storing and sending cryptocurrencies off chain. This is like the difference between online payments and cash. The money packed in MiraBox can be downloaded to a usb drive, or sent via email or messenger without any commissions and transaction records. Mira doesn’t store user passwords and identities; there’s no need to create and account or a wallet for buying or selling a MiraBox. These are new levels of security and anonymity, compared to the existing solutions.

If you are talking about the increased pump&dump cases then we can’t give any guarantee. Nor can anyone, since cryptocurrencies are an asset on an unregulated exchange. If someone says they can guarantee anything they are lying.
But we can reduce the risk of pump&dump to a minimum with the market-making mechanism. We have two reserve funds (see WP): in MIRA token and in cryptocurrency or fiat money, which is about $ 2.0 million and $ 1.2 million, respectively (provided we reach a hard cap). In the future, reserve funds will be used for the MIRA platform. Before we launch it there is no utility demand for tokens and the tokens themselves are relatively illiquid. At this point we will use reserve funds to support the spread of bilateral quotations by the market maker. The market maker will have a rather large resource, which will help to prevent pump&dump schemes.
