What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins? I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.
Thanks in advance for your reply!

I think reddit is a very good place to follow your coin news as every coin has a different subreddit and there's new activities everyday. Twitter is a good and official source to follow news about the project too.

Various different places, you can follow your coins on twitter / reddit / slack / telegram etc, and obviously their threads on here to get the communities feelings, for actual news news, there are a few sites out there https://cointelegraph.com/ http://www.altcointoday.com/ http://www.newsbtc.com to name just a few.

/r/ethtrader on Reddit. Awesome daily threads there. I also browse /biz/ on 4chan whenever I'm bored, lots of info there too if you know how to read through the piles of bullshit.

Mainly this forum and sometimes Reddit when I look at Bitcoin's subreddit. But I think this forum is one of the best platforms for understanding and keeping up-to-date of the latest crypto news.

Bitcointalk, Telegram, youtube. I like to find new ICO projects so I use different trackers first to find attractive projects and make basic research.

Bitcointalk 3. Medium 4. Twitter and telegram cryptocurrency channel 5. Newsbtc and cointelegraph 6. Worldcoinindex.com ( every coin has a link to bttalk, reddit, medium, twitter, wedsite, telegram channel) 7. Reddit( though the interface is a little bit confusing to me at time)

I am following some people on twitter, the best way to get news before everyone because popular blockchain news websites are very late in terms of sharing news compared to ones in twitter.

Most of my news updates come from different websites such as https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ and Twitter. I also get updated by Telegram channels. Reddit is also big help, and Bitcointalk. All of them give good insight to most things in the crypto universe. I also check into coinmarketcap to get latest price updates and coin values.

Honestly, there are just so many news places now that I even stopped using my bookmarks. Any time I want to find a news or update on a particular project, I just use Google:
1. You get the most relevant news. Usually the big news sites like cointelegraph and themerkle are good. 2. If it does not appear on Google, then it is probably not reliable anyway since the news should come from the direct website or portals it sends news out to.
The ANN threads right here on bitcointalk are also useful.
I do read external news sometimes, but then it is 50/50 fact or rumor. Up to you to judge, but I generally read everything and do not trust 100%.

Since you ask news for the coins already held, I think the particular coin's site and twitter page is the best way to get updates. Also sites like cointelegraph, steemit, coin's discord etc. are good ways to get latest info about the coins.

What I do is simply aggregate all the news feeds using feedly. I added every outlet that has the words ICO, Blockchain, crypto in it and now I get to see all the news from every relevant site every day. I have to say it does make things more streamlined and gives you the opportunity to compare the angle every news outlet is taking on a new event.
Aside from that, like justin86 said, twitter is cool too, it gives you the info fresh out of the oven if you're following the right people.
