There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Basically,i get news from this forum, because there are people with a good knowledge and they are always trying to share their experience.I olso use to find some news on medium because many experts post their researches and statistics on this site.olso i am trying to search people, whom are advisors and who has a special knowledge about this on twitter, but i don’t like facebook as a source of technology news, because in my opinion there are so many blockchain system haters and their opinions is just ungrounded and unfounded.

I usually go to Reddit to get my news. https://www.reddit.com/r/worldnews to be exact, and also https://www.reddit.com/r/news. Both of these offer relatively up-to-the-minute news that is going on in the world which often times the mainstream media doesn't report on.

I find coin market news at Facebook, bitcointalk, Coindesk and sometimes twitter and youtube.
I also regularly check news outlets as well as official sites.  if you need more info you can search in google.

I find my news at social medias like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, Reddit. But, I do advice that you should determine if an article or new is legit, because there are news that are a hoax or fraud. Be articulate enough as well.

Yes, reddit is one among the source that provides clear information regarding cryptocurrency. Other than this we have got ccn, cointelegraph, and so many other news sources. Nowadays YouTube too has got some news service for Cryptocurrency that comes with periodical updates and interviews with specific persons.

Telegram is enough for me.

Check https://tgstat.com/crypto and choose some channels from top of the list.
They post news frequently and you need to monitor only 2-3 channels to be in touch with the crypto world.

You could always look for a good sites like steemit or reddit  but social media can be also useful on finding news about coins like Facebook or Twitter. But bitcoin talk is good place to have knowledge too.

What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

I'll just read in the bitcoin forum. And go to different site to gather information about BTC and altcoin. Its important for me to updated because I'am joining in a signiture campaign. So in order to produce a quality post I should be knowlegdeable about all happening in bitcoin. Its better to be educated than never.

There are a bunch of crypto sites out there, but i feel like the news get to 4chan and reddit first before it hits more "mainstream" media sites such as coindesk or cointelegraph. If i'm trying to daytrade or speculate, i always try to go as directly to the source as possible, so i end up on those sites (plus checking twitter and specific token sites).

I get my updates on Twitter, telegram and reddit by following several crypto related accounts/channels including coindesk and coinmarketcap. Steemit can be a good source too. I don't rely here (bct) for news actually since most of it are biased and/or FUD inciting
