Mainly twitter when rolling out of the bed in the morning, it gives me a good idea of the sentiment and what is happening in the markets. I also like youtube for watching a couple of people, but would say generally avoid youtube because there  is more misinformation there than information. Twitter is similar as there is tons of shitposting so I wouldn't advise a newbie to go there because it can be hard to know what is real and what is fake or sarcasm.

What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins?
I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Basically, I get news from this forum, chatting in telegrams, and also a tweeter. In addition to the news in the cryptoworld, I monitor the status of my coins every day.
I also get news from this forum. But I often get news from my friend who's been using Bitcoin since 2016. I often ask him about Bitcoin and the best alternative coins.

Youtube, here, some googling, and that's it.

Be weary of false news sources, especially with ones trying to sell you something/ free giveaways all the time.

There are plenty of Bitcoin dedicated webs that provide quite good information so I think your list is very limited. There is nothing wrong with this https://btcmanager.com/ for example

There's a lot of  resources wherein  to  get  information  or  news  just  like  crypto friends, newspaper,  twitter and even in  facebook.

I usually update my self here in the forum and sometimes in twitter, cointelegraph, or also can be cryptonews.net if I am not mistaken.
But this forum is the most effective way for us to find out the latest update about in bitcoin or cyrpto.

Well one of my favorite place to learn news about crypto is Twitter. It is definitely very fast source to get information. You can get the latest update for your favorite coin or you can learn the website which you hold your coins in is hacked . Of course there is also so much speculation is going on in Twitter so it's better to check out the information yourself before taking any action with a information you got from Twitter.

For small caps you could use chats and telegram groups to stay informed, bigger ones have blogs and official sites where you can subscribe.

Getting news from twitter is kinda sketchy there are tons of people that are paid to shill projects to their following. It happens on this forum too but not as bad as on twitter because you can carry only one signature and I expect people to do their own research before using it as their signature.

Said that I for the most part get all the news I need on bitcointalk, since it's pretty much the main hub for crypto.

I check hourly crypto news, probably the most reliable website.

Reddit is as popular as this forum. Many information regarding the market are being posted there.

Bitcoin.com is also a great source of the latest cryptonews. Detailed info is also given in this site.

CryptoVenture's telegram channel also do updates. Very useful in many ways.

Or...simply visit our all time friendly neighbor GOOGLE! Most probably the easiest way to get some juicy news now a days.

Twitter, bitcointalk and Reddit is your best source of news. Twitter is the most fastest and easiest way to search and learn on new update on certain coins. Telegram can also be used however, due to the number of members per group. It may be a bit hard for you to keep up with the chat. Twitter has saved my portfolio soo many times. Its just a matter of Due Dilligence and Research. Always remember, if its unofficial, try to treat the news as speculation. Treat it as a McAfee PnD.

I often find news in social media like facebook and twitter. Sometimes for more information I prefer to open the website. there is also a special channel that tells about ICO. Reddit also helped me to give me news about ICO. The most often I visit is Bitcointalk.

Forum, discussions and telegram I like especially, sometimes Its good but see how active their official communities are and its good to have a list of group to get updates from official notification. Otherwise news site are great too but they are more bias as most of them were being endorsed except for those "already happened" stuff or generic global/national cryptocurrency news
