I think the price will continue to rise only until the fork, then there could be a big correction

You are dumb you think people will listen to a random troll posting so called 'advice' to sell.I think you have a buy order at low price waiting to be filled  and you missed the chance to buy bitcoin when it was cheap.Bitcoin price can fall but no one can say for sure so don't say it with such confidence that's it's price is about to be corrected. There are many dumbs people believing everything the heard/read. Examples ? People voting for Brexit, Trump... I think there are a lot of people reading bitcointalk to make their "own" opinion, just reflecting the average number of bearish or bullish posts here. |

I think you made a little mistake with your advice because price is just go above 7700$ and this is pretty close to 8000$.Since we have a week more or less before next fork, 300$ to the next level of 8k$ is very close.The price seems to have not reached the upper limit yet and if you sell these days and not have chance to buy back at lower price you'll lose the opportunity for free coins after fork.In general it is not a good time to sell,it is better to hold and wait for the outcome of hard fork. |

I think its strange that newbie accounts are all suddenly telling us to sell our bitcoin. Don't sell any until the hard fork obviously. Why are those wannabes always looking at technical analysis? This is BITCOIN. This is not like your regular stocks or commodities.
I've sold bitcoin before hoping to hedge the money. Turns out to have been a bad decision because fast forward 2 months and my money would already have been doubled by now had i not sold. I'm now just waiting for my target BTC price. $50k USD

No way. People are dumping now because they realize that there won't be any chances of getting a "forked coin" to sell later for more btc and then sell their bitcoin. Now, people are dumping right now, so the nice little bubble we were in is gone. We should be seeing a strong drop today that may be over-come in the next 2-3 weeks. I don't think we will have any gains today. Current all time high is somewhere between 7,800 and 7,900 and it will take some time before we can get there. |

There is no fork. The drop that you're talking about is taking place right now. If you're holding long term, however, you should be fine. If you were planning on selling right after the fork to get more money, you're probably at a loss right now depending on when you picked up the coin. I think selling your bitcoin now, is not a good idea, since there is no fork, the market will go into correction and the value will drop and another sale will be going on, unless they reschedule the fork in the coming days, but as of now a correction is on the way, but it will be healthy, since the fork was hyped, and there is still an upcoming Bitcoin silver, which may again contribute to althe rise of the value of bitcoin, but if you think you're ok with what you've gain already, there is no stopping you from selling, but make sure that you still have left for your investment.

I wont sell my bitcoin because price correction would take place. Because I think price will rising as many users continues to buy. Yes I would rather save btc than selling it today. |

You just came and say that without any reason. Csn't you make it more clear with us so that we can make our move if we are going to sell bitcoin or not. I do not ignore what you say since I open every possibility in bitcoin price. Previously bitcoin pump and pump and pump. So I think maybe that pumping time will end and time of drops will hit bitcoin but I do not know when it will going to happen so maybe this is the sign but I just want to make it more clear, why ? |

Me i still continue to believed that bitcoin value have no limitation that is why i just keep my bitcoin in my wallet for the future. the value of bitcoin is slightly going down already because someone said that there will no forks will occur or is it suspended therefore as a result most people now are started to sell off their bitcoins because theres no assurance or guarantee that they can get their promised forked coins although i think there were still some are waiting for further announcement and clarifications for this news. |
