Hello all, I need help, I have both MB gaming 6 and gaming 7  on z170 chipset.

7 GPU works well but I need connect 8 via m2 . Have anyone this configuration?

I cant find optimal setting for this.

i'm having the same issue, no m.2 options in the BIOS, even tho the gigabyte mining page here:

https://www.gigabyte.com/MicroSite/462/mining.html

says 8 x GPU's are supported.

did you ever get 8xGPU's to work?

I have the same problem with the motherboard z170x gaming 6, I successful install 7 gpu but at the time of adding the gpu number 8 using m.2 the operating system (windows 10) cant detect it   Huh  Cry

Ports can go bad on these board pretty easily I noticed, https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/comments/6l286u/msi_z170a_gaming_m5_8_gpu_nightmares/
You aren't alone obviously. Best route is to take it slow, individually test all PCI-Risers and ports and see if you run into anything.
