Interesting: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=27827Post count = Activity for him, but 2 of his posts are separated by 2 minutes so its not the number of days during which you posted I'm going to guess that it's a formula that theymos will tell us about later.
Edit: I'm winning so far with 532
Is there a way to see the ranking by activity? Looks like it's the same bounds than post count: 5, 100, 250, 500 No, I mean a list of all the forum members in the order of decreasing activity?

dammit, i want to keep 999 posts kicked from hero to jr That suck's. Whoa! I think activity is the new "post count." It's a better system, the lower your activity the less quality I guess.

This activity thing is horrible, I just want post count, it's judged upon activity? That's utter BS. This shows jack diddly, and only gets ranks down of great members.

This is hilarious. Just today I was thinking to myself, "I bet Theymos does something like removes people's post counts and calls it an "accident" or something". Obviously my reasoning was flawed, but it's funny that it came true anyway.

Maybe this will finally disincentivize spamming for post racking to gain supposed credibility. Wtf? How will it affect us "paid for signature space whores" ?

Yep. Was hero member, down to Jr. member now. Probably based on your registration date and total time logged in. I don't think post count has anything to do with it.

That's a good question -- might not be related to just posting since I just made a post, but my activity score stayed the same.

people would never migrate leaving their trusted accounts and everything, so that's not an option it's an established monopoly for sure
