Any altcoin that is stable and doesn't pump and dump constantly is good. Depending on how long u want to invest, whether its long term or short term. ETH would be the safest of all Altcoins as it's the most stable, that's recommended if you want to hodl for long term!

Then for me it's Eth, or try also litecoin. These two will be my recommendation. For those coins that we think we can gain in the future would be the best, and take some research for those coins, don't just rely on those people in this forum including my suggestions. LOL. Because not all of us can really help you but also you can help your own, so after reading some suggestions, take also some research. We are investing our money so this is too risky once money is involved.

that's right, no one is safe in cryptocurrency, all have a high risk. If you want to secure investment in gold. Because investing in cryptocurrency you have to dare to take risks. but don't worry with the risk, if you have the knowledge, you can minimize the risk. my favorite coin is ETH, ETH is the second popular coins that have a bright future after bitcoin.

I will suggest you invest in monero and litecoin. looking at the price movement of these two altcoin I can see that they are quite stable. when bitcoin was risen they maintain their prices in relation to bitcoin price. I would have added ethereum but ethereum does not have that history until recently.

Ethereum has been showing good signs of stability in price: playing around 290$~312$. You could also try to invest in BCH, although not at all safe but it shows good profit in short term tradings. Also Ripple too is worth the time for research.

Crypto market is very volatile. In investments risk = volatility. Therefore there are NOT such things as "safe" altcoins, or "non-volatile" ones. If you want to invest in Crypto make sure it is just a portion of your portfolio and that you are comfortable with the overall risk profile.

The safest altcoins to invest in is waves and ethereum, these are always in my lists. I agree, these will truly give a profit in the long run. Buy while its cheap and you can hold for a long term.

I think it's all about timing and hype in the coin. A popular coin today could be terrible investment tomorrow, just look at TenX, OMG and a few others. However coins might get a second chance, like vertcoin. You never know just do your own research and try your luck
