Congratulation for your gain. I used to do day trading, but stopped because it is taking up quite alot of my time. With a good trading plan and clear mind, day trading can be profitable. Good luck to you.

So after doing a TON of research I rearranged my schedule and decided to try my hand at day trading.
I decided to start off really small, so I only put in .02 BTC to see where I can go with it. I've been using only cryptopia.
After three days...I'm up to .0338711 BTC! Wao! I'm a rich man! lol...
I was pleasantly surprised that a simple strategy brought steady gains. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out indicators of coins that were about to be pumped. I looked at trade volume, spikes in value, market cap, buy/sell order history, etc. I am going about this very cautiously, so when I felt like a coin was about to or in the beginning to middle stages of being pumped, I would buy it, and right away put in a sell order that was slightly higher for a small gain. I tried my best to not put in too much and resell for a lot higher and the result was steady (but tiny gains). As I get comfortable with this I will probably try larger investments.
I know I'm very amateurish but it feels good to get better at something yeah?
Anyone had similar experiences in day trading?

Most of us trying different strategy to play this dice. Let's continue this tread after at least one month of your trading experience. 3 days is nothing. Just some advice, not try to put even half on your money in 1 deal.

Well done you on a quick gain!
When i first started here on the forum my first goal was to gain rank and learn a lot about crypto currency, i read and i observe all the accounts I can and every topic how they do it as i was reading little by little i begin to learn how its works and define my own strategy.
Keep up the good work.

Great post as it's an interesting read, people always like to hear of others experiences. The key is to have your strategy and stick to them, we can all get a little excited, a little greedy but that's usually when we crash and burn. Just remember at the end of the day, profit is profit! It would be good to see you keep updating this thread, maybe like a weekly update or something!

Luck can come your way few times but not all times. There are some coins that are volatile. find those coins and do this. If will be safe dude. Otherwise you will burn all the money.

I have a experience but my trade was long. I bought NEO at 4.55$ per NEO. Around 150$ NEO.Then I hold NEO for 2 months and finally sold all of my NEO. 60$/NEO And I was very very happy in that time

I joined a free trading signal group on Telegram. To test the water, I only practiced paper trading based on their BUY/SELL signal. It has been profitable on paper, I am thinking to do actual trading, but I am still worried. I know for a fact that people lose more than profiting with Day trading. It's tempting but I am resisting and holding on my bags.

I have a bitter experience when trying to trade. often hit by a very panic when saw the price down. and often feel impatient when seeing prices rise, the profit earned is not so much, because it can not wait to sell when the new price rose slightly

its hard to do day trading because you need to always research almost everytime and you must have a lot patience when i have lot of time i also do it for some profit but usually i just buy coin and put it in sell wall in my predicted price and do other things

You were just lucky, you know that bitcoin fork was cancelled and basically all alts had huge gainz after the fork, because people jump back to alts? If you can keep this up for a month, you will be wealthy, but I am just calling it a luck.

Have you ever considered that you were able to make these gains because segwit was cancelled and people are bringing money back into alts?
While I am really happy for your success I think you will start to find it difficult to maintain those gains. Already, a lot of alts are starting to slow down. On top of that doesn't Cryptopia mostly offer shitcoins? Unless you are careful with how much you put in you could easily end up with a bag full of nothing.
If I were you, I would take this into consideration and adjust your investing accordingly. Maybe take just 10 to 20% of what you earned to invest and the rest put into a long term hold so if you lose you won't lose everything.

Your story sounds interesting may I know what are your coins in your bag? How do you get to earn about 50% of your investment and you are only trading for 3days? Do you forex or trade in stockmarket before? So after doing a TON of research I rearranged my schedule and decided to try my hand at day trading.

Its important to know when to stop when day trading. Closing a trade with a profit brings with it its own emotions, one of which is euphoria. Whilst its not abnormal to feel euphoric about closing a day profitably, if not careful it can also validate a bad trading strategy i.e. if you close in a bull market when all alts are up; where your alt is up by virtue of a lot of buying in the market generally. Always keep an eye on indicators and volume!

Have not day traded, but great job! Be ready to lose some as well, but don't let it get you down. Keep at it, and at times put some of the profits aside just incase everything goes sour one trade.
