Google results show more people searching for Bitcoin than gold

Not surprising to see this tbh, bitcoin is the asset to own right now. Look at the increases in value in recent times.

Probably its because Bitcoin now is worth more than gold and is constantly increasing its value so obviously people are drawn to how fast it has grown over a year.

That is of course, btc is a new trend in the world and they need to know more about it. Gold has existed for so long, people seem to have no questions about it. BTC, as well as crypto, are a fairly complex system and that is  reason of why people are looking for it.

That is why the price of bitcoin is getting more expensive because there are lots of people right now  searching about bitcoin even in social media facebook and twitter mostly you can see lots of advertisement over in social media about bitcoin that is why people are searching about bitcoin because of curiosity.
Just check the  google trends you can see more people are searching it than gold..
And  there are friends of friends spreading about bitcoin since the price of bitcoin is increasing and we can treat bitcoin as investment much people are now interested..
Not unlike gold that you can only see the price is really stable unlike bitcoin..
And you can mine it with your own with asic miner unlike gold . there are lots of reason that i think why bitcoin is mostly searched by many people....

that's right, if you search it on the internet. but try your research in the real world. maybe the result will be very different.

This is probably due to the increase in value of bitcoin.  At the start of this year, 1 BTC was around $800 to $1,200, now it's $7,400.  That's a huge increase in value and a lot of investors are interested to invest and make profit.

obviously it would be many who are looking for bitcoin compared to gold. because in the virtual world bitcoin is its king. you should try in the countryside, you will find different answers.

What more do you need to know about gold, than the price, and the course of the last past years? For the beginning that should be enough.

For Bitcoin you have to inform about everything to be safe to handle and buy. I think that´s the more complex system beyond.
Also for gold you can go to a bank to look for informations, but will the bank also offer information about Bitcoin?

Last thing is the raise of the price of the Bitcoin. Everybody wants his piece of cake.

The results from google is proof that bitcoin is more user-friendly than gold which is seen to be a sign of wealth by most people, unlike bitcoin which is paving way for blockchain technology to be used in the future...and is much easier to acquire, we should expect more use of this digital gold.

Similar thing happened in 2013, start of 2017 and now. There's still a bunch of peoeple who are entirely clueless about how the cryptocurrency really works whereas gold is pretty much 'buy 'em and stock 'em' and it gets value over time. With bitcoin's flexibility and tons of applications aside from being a payment method, average people would really need to get the information they need before investing and pouring their money in it.

It is actually good That more people are getting interested in bitcoins , well Thai is because of the limit breaking value of BTC .
Honestly the value is the major reason for Bitcoins being ofln the top and bitcoin becoming more popular day by day .

But if you are thinking in the direction that BTC is better and more famous than gold then you may be going in a wrong way , people searched of BTC because the prices went extremely high aon the other hand their is no need to know pe about gold more so why would people search about it , I men's who is interested in its molecular structure and more scientific details.

Well it doesn't really signify anything for me. First, we all know where to buy gold especially jewelries so there is no need for us to google it. Besides, what's more do we need to know about gold that needs the help of a search engine? Of course there will be high number of google search about btc because not everyone know a thing about it. They might have heard about it from their friends or relatives or colleagues thus, the need to search about it in the internet.

It is easy to understand that gold has become so familiar to people so I think very few people will find out about what is so familiar to them as gold. Bitcoins, on the other hand, are far from familiar to them, so few know it. They see the value of it and they start to learn about it through the search engines, which is a good sign.

I think it´s caused of every point you mentioned. The full load of this huge amount was created by searching for all things and questions of Bitcoin. There is a huge movement at the moment so you need to be informed as well. (Scam, Price, technical Background...)
