I think that's perfectly normal. Gold is well known for hundreds of years, and although it is still a good and stable store of value source, it's not easy to be used by most people. People already know gold, so they don't really need to search for it, and only big investors actually purchase it as an investment. Most of us don't really have enough money to buy it, and pay the fees needed to keep it safe in a gold storage facility or bank or anything like that.

As for bitcoin, it's relatively recent, so as people hear about it, they begun to google it to get more information. Hopefully those searching for it, will understand that this is a real great opportunity to invest for the future, and much easier to do than to invest in gold.

I think practicly everything has been searched more than gold, for what is there to know more about gold? Nothing, it's just gold. This has been the case since it has been known. But bitcoin cannot be grasped that easily, one needs to read up a lot about it and keep up with it's evolvement through forks and such. People usually are lazy, they put effort to know about something only when they already have some idea about it. People will not go on search about PKR or INR instead they will first search about dollar because they already have some degree of knowledge about it. Why should people search about gold on internet ?  As far as i know bitcoin is relate to internet without it we can't control our coins neither we can earn it. But about gold its free to use everywhere and there's no internet required probably bitcoin exist on internet so people search on it. I think that is because bitcoin is maybe a little kore convenient to get rather than gold. Bitcoin can be accessed anytime and anywhere and it can be transferred. However if gold it still needs some work to be done or it cant be accessed as easily.
