I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that one bitcoin will be worth $10,000 by March 2018. If you look at what the price was even 12 months ago then a pump to 10k & above doesn’t seem too much of a jump.

There's a chance, however, as you know some holders are dumping because there was a news that segwit2x is cancelled. People stored bitcoin because they wanted to take advantage of the fork to get free coins. Since it was cancelled the dump will happen early. Let's just see if it will reach 10k by 2018.

Next year we will go for $10k.March also seems realistic imo to reach that level. However don't let's get too excited. Because this is the honeybadger. And whenever you don't expect it, something crazy and weird stuff could happen.

Some will see that is a good thing and some no ! But why this difference in the point of views ?
10k is really a huge amount and it is influencing on the number investers and on the ICOs.
From the other side, for Bitcoiners I think 10k is the best prive to sell.

I really think that bitcoin market is getting bigger. A lot of influential people are getting in to bitcoin and some countries are starting to invest bitcoin. A lot of people expected that it would grow to $5000 before the year ends, however, it happened to soon and it even reached $7000 a month before the year end. So, I think anything is possible with bitcoin.

I agree and share the same optimism for $10K Bitcoin in 2018. The adoption news and rumors are all over the place with Amazon acceptance being the latest one. We need more great news for Bitcoin technical development or acceptance to push this further to $10K. I mean yeah Segwit2X cancelation is good, but as expected it would crash the price because people are (presumably) buying to claim easy free B2X before. We need major technical development update like segwit, hopefully the one that will also solve the high fee issue

Yes I was thinking more towards the end of this year to hit that mark but not too sure now since the fork is not happening but even so the price does not seem to have been hit as hard as I thought it would be, but yes definitely by March I foresee the $10k mark.

If you look at the history of bitcoins from the august and now November is so fast that it is rising. Hence, the four-month wait is so durable and probably above 10k $ the better bitcoins. I have even read the prediction of this Crypto currencies news rate of 27k $ in february 2018. Let's take a while and buy more bitcoins because we do not know what will happen. Let's see if it's going to be true and we'll eventually regret it.

March is about 5 months from now and you want us to believe that bitcoin's growth is going to come to near halt so that it can only rise up to $10k which is a tiny 33% rise from current price?

i disagree! a 6% rise per month is too small for bitcoin, specially now that it is on the way up with adoption and all this media attention that bitcoin is receiving these days.

Agree with the point of view, 10k compared to the current price is 30% increase, perhaps not to 2018 march, bitcoin has been to the moon.

There is really nothing impossible in the world of bitcoin after all the price touched $7700+ yesterday before retreating back to the level we are at the moment but the possibility of reaching that is what I am most interested in because with the shelving of the idea of fork in the case of SegWit, I dont think there would be any fork happening any time soon which is one of the determinant that pushed the price to an all time high in the first place but at the same time, something drastic might happen that will give much more push than any fork which among will include:

1. The proposed adoption of bitcoin by amazon

2. The various news from countries supporting bitcoin should start materializing

3. Any other great news happening.

Aside that, we might be hovering around but not touching the 10k mark.

Now the price is closely to reach $8k so it might easy to reach $10 by the end of this year, but you are expecting in March 2018. Expecting is not the real thing, but just we need to be patience for everything to come in time.

the price is so unpredictable , I believe it will reach 10K next year but can't be sure especially if it's gonna be by March sooner , later or never  
this year had a lot of drama , both good and bad news but still the price is way more than what it was at January
the recent fork news may be good and may be bad for the price , but in general as long as bitcoin worth more than 4K I'm all good

bitcoin still have many good days to come hopefully , just don't care about when will that happen

There is always a possibility that bitcoin price will reach up to $10k, but we don't know exactly when it will happen, those professional traders saying that it can really reach that price, especially that I've read some topic here in forum that Zimbabwe's bitcoin price is already reach $12k. Is it possible that we have different price of bitcoin in Zimbabwe?

I like the chances bitcoin has to reach 10k by that time I even am prediciting it will happen late Feb 2018 but it is my best guess and I dont know what will happen anyhow

Well 10k by march is completely possible or even soon enough we can see a sudden rise in bitcoins prices, just one perquisite is :- everything goes well with segwit2x, and thats in fact very important, the whole community is facing a crisis right now..no one.. knows.. if.. Bitcoins will be able..to..face this hard fork, but speculations is that segwit2x is not gonna happen due to.. less support that it have received but nothing is confirmed , lets see what happens.
But if its able to go through it.. then, even before march you can expect this sudden rise to 10k.

I think it will reach $ 10K before the march 2018,i hope it will hit $10K by the december or in january and in added to that the fork also cancelled which makes the price increase more.
