Hello,

I just received my fpga Lancelot. Waiting for my Raspberry to arrive, I wanted to test the card on window 7.
Installed the drivers with no problem, but it seems that I have a Comms error.

Please have a look at this screen capture : http://screencast.com/t/jnHzPbMthVde

Anybody have an idea on how to fix that problem ?

Thank you for your help

Upgrade your cgminer.  They have rewritten the way USB works with Icarus units https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.msg2507736#msg2507736

Also, if you are not using a powered USB hub, you should.

If that does not work, try using BFGminer.

My Lancelot is running nicely on 3.1.1

I just grabbed the driver of cardreaderfactory's website and it Works perfectly. Try bitminter client and see if that Works for you.

Right, but there is a way that cgminer talks to the device through winusb.

But if you can get a hold of a powered hub, that would probably solve the problem.

I'm trying now with bfgminer

Here's the comand line I'm using :

bfgminer -G -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u advs108_1 -p 123

and the error message is "All devices disabled, cannot mine!"

How can I tell bfgminer to mine on the lancelot, on COM6 ?

the bfg version is 3.1.0-win64

Thank you for your help !

Error -1 is an I/O error. There's likely a problem somewhere in your cables, connections or USB ports.

Yes, I agree, this is definitively that kind of problem... I just don't know how to fix it. I changed cable, installed all drivers... But...   Cry

Progressing !
used this command line : bfgminer -G -S all -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u advs108_1 -p 123

Now, the problem seems "do not have the privileges riquired to open the com 6"
check the screen capture :  http://screencast.com/t/OAkNEjOr

Do you have any idea how to fix that ? (Win 7)

Check that you don't have a device using the unit. And make sure it's connected with com6 if that's what you are using in cgminer. You should be able to find the com port in your device manager..

Also, did you launch with admin privileges?
