BTG is on testnet for a week now, It's not smart at all to trade futures as we can clearly see from people who bought B2X futures are now pretty much fucked. It's possible BTG wont even launch.

Don't really know about it. But I think you can get BTG con Bittrex only when it's listed on this exchange. Nobody received their BTG for now and still waiting for it. Just spend more time to wait and see if Bittrex will do it or not.

They can just credit people with bitcoin gold in their wallet, but they can choose to not list a market for it.

As afar as I know bittrex will not support BTG that's what all I know about it. I don't know about the hearsay or humors I heeard if that is true or not.

They announced that they will credit it but not list it and I trust that they will do that, give them some time, bitcoin gold isn't even up and running yet so there's no major panic just now. They would have a huge backlash if they went back on their word so they certainly won't.

Yes you will get your BTG when the mainet and the replay protection will get released. I don't know why bitcoin gold is now pumping if the majority of the community didn't receive any bitcoin gold and it can be easily crushed by those individuals.

I don't think bittrex will support bitcoin gold. There are many news and rumors about BTG being a scam coin and there are proofs that seems to be legitimate. But I think there are also some exchanges that allowed the circulation of bitcoin gold on their market, hitbtc for example.

Well, they said they would be taking a snapshot and crediting us for the amount.  If they are getting it for their total amount of BTC held, which comes from us who have accounts there, then it's only right eventually they credit us.

As far as I am concerned Bittrex has stolen our BTG they said they would credit when the chain went live. I am sure they dumped it at a premium on the other exchanges. We'll get it when it's sub $50.

I am sure that is exactly what they are doing. They would at least have updated us with an ETA on our coins if not. There is no reason for them not to steal millions and millions of dollars at zero risk. They will credit us eventually when the coin is dead.

They have stoled all the bitcoin gold from the people, they have not returned it to the holders and this is a real mess. Probably they made millions, if not even billions of dollars because of this situation.
And this happened before with the previous fork, a lot of exchanges were saying that they were not going to give out any forked coin because it was not profitable for them.. obviously that they were just keeping that money and using it to pump or dump some coins that they decided to move.
It is a bad situation, people have still not received their bitcoin goldies and it was supposed to be distributed on the 14th.

Why not , you will be getting that the same way you got your BCH. Just add the private key and boom you get the Bitcoin gold. I'm also reading that they will credit it but not list it. Hopefully this will happen, though it will be a little difficult to accomplish. The current crypto can outrun the BTG which will badly affect the market situation. It is only to believe in it because it will be a real revolution.

I got my btg from bittrex. Kind of a surprise. Anyway I ended up selling it right away for just under $400. I don’t have faith in that coin. Fundamentally, I don't think it's worth much, either. But there are two things that I'm considering here. Firstly, the exchange-circulating supply is very low. That of Bitcoin is already very low -- most coins stay cold -- so Bgold already has that lack of liquid supply. In addition, lots of people won't even bother recovering BTG from their everyday wallets at these prices.

Secondly, don't underestimate hype. When I got into Bitcoin in 2013, "LTC as Bitcoin's silver" was all the rage. I think that BTG benefits from this sort of newbie mindset. Time will tell, but I think this coin will get pumped higher.

I believe that there can not be any frauds with this exchange and will not be, since they have a reputation and in general it is a very serious exchange that fulfills all that promises. I think that you can still not worry about this issue and just wait

Unfortunately, I did not get my coins either, and despite the fact that I had Bitrex, there were 9+ bitcoins and they had been lying there for a long time. I do not understand what it means to receive coins. I'm a bit hurt if I'm being honest.

I do not know where to find the exact information, usually the stock exchanges themselves write or do a tweet about it. If you do not do it, you can go straight to the support, I did it, but I have not all the bitcoins already added, there's no new one.

Couldn't even blame you if you had a little amount of btc in their exchange. I mean, a lot of people are already raising their eyebrows to this exchange since a lot of people using this exchange already had plenty of horror stories to share about this exchange. Which is why like you, i only store quite a few amount of bitcoin into that exchange. Wouldn't wanna risk all my bitcoin possessions just to get my hands on a free coin. That i do not even think is deserving to be trusted by a lot of people.
