im thinking to inveest at bitcoin cash as it is on the go for now and more bitcoin are withdrawing their fund because of cancellation of segwit x2.. biitcoin cash have small value now annd can easily double your money unlike bitcoin that you needhuge amount to have a single coin of it !

Bitcoins are still of course. Because cash bitcoins are just hype so the price increases. do you see now? the hype is over and Bitcoins Cash is falling again. So there's nothing to lose in bitcoins because it has proven to be a lot and it has worked well for us. We should no longer be worried. From the history of the fork and looking at all the discussion, Bitcoin is still the original Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash is an altcoin, which still has its value, but is significantly different from BTC. As for now, regardless of the price changes of Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin can be considered the true Bitcoin. However, if something would happen to Bitcoin in the future (e.g., the blockchain breaks - if this is even possible), I am sure, Bitcoin Cash will get even more attention than now.

Bitcoin cash is not going to take place of bitcoin for sure . Bitcoin cash cannot be the future of block chain .
It is just that the market of bitcoin cash has grown for some time just like other altcoins such as etherneum , litecoin etc . But that doe'snt mean that the bitcoin cash can ever replace bitcoin . These are just the sudden reactions by people , so stop panicking .

Personnaly yesterday i decided to move my bitcoins to altcoins until the show is over. Not sure i like all the forks and all the fight and manipulation over it right now. I'm a new little player and it's not worth my loss. Bitcoin has the name and is the pioneer and bitcoin cash is being pumped a bit by anger but does offer more than btc. Too much money involved for me to choose between one or an other at this point, just hope this calms down and other altcoins can grow.

Just for me? Of course bitcoin  ! Bitcoin is the best among all so dont panic just hold it because i know that if the bitcoin goes down again many people buy bitcoins again and it will bump again to the highest price again.

Solve the Scaling issue and this all ends.

They are trying to resolve this issue for the last 12 months, right? But there has been no consensus. SegWit2x was the best bet, but once again the infighting prevented it from getting implemented. Now there are no proposals in the pipeline and we can expect the status quo to prevail for another 1-2 years. And by then the situation is going to get much worse.

I have to say i feel the same as some others here after this weekends alleged takeover attempt i am against Bitcoin Cash. They seem to act as if it is the saviour and must be used. I think they forget that so many other coins are already out there. In the same way I find most ICO's / ITO's I have dealt with recently use ETH20. Bitcoin cash when it first launched I wondered what the point was as even talking block size it isn't going to solve the issues that BTC suffer with. In the same way trying to force change has probably put more people off rather than people seeing this as a "must have".

I think the principle of "HODL" has never been more important.  For everyone and either BTC or BCH.

If you add the values of BTC and BCH they total the recent BTC high of a couple weeks ago.  

I have not even separated my BCH from BTC yet, and I don't see the need to for at least a while.   Who knows which one survives?  All the forkening and flippening that we have...and will...go through mandates you ONLY buy either at this point.  

I am no expert, but I suspect BTC may end up longer term as an investment, like a stock or bond, not easily or quickly transacted, but as a holder of value.  Now the loss in fungibility may affect its value as well, but there are so many other factors involved here that it is unwise to discount the most plausible scenarios.   BTC just might survive, and it just may be dominant long term.  

BCH also has a lot of attributes and addresses the issue this all revolves around;  blocksize with a cleaner concept without the issues being brought up with segwit.  In fact I don't see why BCH might not have everything needed TO replace BTC as a store of wealth, but again, there are too many variables involved.  John Mcaffee might mad as a hatter, or a frigging genius, and maybe both, and he implied he favored BCH.

Without the benefit of a time machine, fortune teller or tomorrow's newspaper there is no way to know which crypto to invest it all in, so HODL it all.

we cant say what will happen after this, but i'm still positive that bitcoin will survived and this rise are just for a while, still considering that bitcoin cash still another form of alt coin and will never replace or take over bitcoin from its thrown, things happen for a reason so lets just embrace and enjoy the moment just keep holding and relaxed.

Now that Segwit2x has been called off, and the developers have said Bitcoin Cash 'aligns with their views'.... and bitcoin.com has gone only to bitcoin cash - What is the future bitcoin ??

I am pleased that Segwit2x was called off, I felt this would cause a divide in the bitcoin community, however bitcoin cash is fast and cheap and people may start using Bitcoin cash over bitcoin.

Bitcoin has dropped ~10% in the last day, I feel this is good because it has settles down at the 6700 mark for correction, on the other hand, bitcoin cash has raised ~40% !!

I was all along saying to myself, if the price went in the $6k range, I would purchase a small amount more, however bitcoin cash is doing well, what should I do ?

Op, people are still buying bitcoin because the recent decline create an avenue for more investors to put in more money at a cheaper rate with the hope that its value will increase in no distance time. The recent increase in bitcoin Cash is just for a short period for I believe that bitcoin Cash cannot sustain that height for a long period of time because it is one of the altcoins and that is how they behave (pump and dump).
