Hello, guys! need your help [2018-01-18 02:29:17.320] [default] [warning] Wait for processing solutions on CPU for 0.0858871s. CPU overloaded? This is slowing down the mining! mother - ASUS b250 mining expert (x 13 pci) GPU - nvidia 1060 6 gb dual - 8 CPU - intel core i3 memory - 8 gb So you are mining MNX I suppose? The CPU seems just not enough for this huge hash rates you get when mining MNX. I'd suggest you use some of the cards to mine a different coin, e.g., ZERO, which uses a different Equihash variant that has a much lower hash rate.

Please anyone that can explain how to mine front beginning to end. THANK YOU.. This is what i did on my end, I installed LINUX MINT downloaded OPTIMINEREQUIHASH MASTER for Linux and i also downloaded mxMiner_017a-suprbiva inside of OPTIMINEREQUIHASH MASTER are 6 files cmd.md, make_release.sh, powertune.md, README.md and reportbug.md inside of mxMiner_017a-suprbiva with two files mxminer (i think its a .exe file bc on properties shows Aplication/x-executable) and start_mining.sh
Now here its the question with all this on the computer which its a dual boot, how can i start mining what do i need to change, how can it be changed which program i need to run to start mining. Please advise. ThanK You!

(OPTIMINEREQUIHASH MASTER ) make_release.sh----- I right clicked and when to properties after that TAB PERMISSIONS and than i clicked a check arrow to ALLOW EXECUTING FILE AS PROGRAM by doing that it created 6 folders with nothing on it and a read me text file ending with .md which its the same thing as the README.md so NOT A PROGRESS AT ALL
mxMiner_017a-suprbiva------- mxminer file i tried everything and it doesnt run at all..
mxMiner_017a-suprbiva------- start_mining.sh file when i clicked on it it run but it shows

NOW I right clicked same file and i go to Properties/ TAB PERMISSIONS and than i removed check arrow to ALLOW EXECUTING FILE AS PROGRAM and shows.
#!/bin/bash ./mxminer -l eu -u XS14gShuJvwSXy5muKPshsU5DJjTUAjnx5 -t 2
PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW CAN I FIX THIS. THANK YOU

for MNX mining people say: Gtx1050ti 5k sols Gtx1070 7.5k sols Gtx1080 8-8.5k sols Rx580 11k sol Rx570 9.9k sol
I want to buy myself more cards for the farm. I think what to take, AMD cards will keep in the near future such a preponderance in power? They are twice more profitable than Nvidia - they are cheaper and mined better.

So as I'm mining MNX, I was looking for a solution to get a CUDA optimized miner. So I found a CUDA solver that work with Mars algo (96,5) instead of standard ZEC algo (200,9) : https://github.com/tromp/equihashThis solver is used by nheqminer : https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminerAnd I was able to compile standard nheqminer and use standard Tromp CUDA solver to mine ZEC on my rig. I didn't try to compile Tromp solver with 96,5 parameters because when I change pool URL in nheqminer to from zec.suprnova.cc to mnx.supernova.cc, miner can parse pool answer So mining MNX is not that simple. I hope that Optiminer will be able to release a CUDA version soon. Or maybe use this solver

Yes, no ETA on a new windows version.
I might release an linux image for AMD / Nvidia cards with preinstalled miner at some point to make it easier getting started for people that are not very used to Linux.
thank you for everything that you've done for this community so far, but i don't think you should do that. it would be ok if we were in '93 and using pure unix OS when the only way you could do something was with trial and error there are plenty noob friendly tutorials on youtube and various sites that show how to install linux, graphic drivers if people won't go a small step further for themselves, then what would make a difference between people who actually spend time trying/learning new things on their own, and someone who rufus-ed a complete image on an usb stick and "woila im such a professional miner" . my 85 yo grandma will be able to assemble a mining rig. "grandma rig's LTD".. ?! don't get me wrong, i like and always try to help people who ask specific questions or who have at least tried.

even mnx being 10x faster, etherum remains more profitable.

If that is true, why to much people who not want Optiminer for new people? Lets people to choose what want to mine Respect to all, free world, that is blockchain!

Version 2.1.0 released! Please see github for details. https://github.com/Optiminer/OptiminerEquihashThis version fixes some problems and brings compatibility with more cards. The next big target will be to rewrite the kernel for CUDA to better support Nvidia cards. This will happen before a first windows release. Why? The experience of OptiminerZero has shown that the current OpenCL solution works very poorly under windows. Therefore, releasing a windows version at the moment would not be much worth and therefore a waste of time.
Happy mining! Be glad that someone bothers to develop something like that. if you want something do it yourself or be satisfied with what you get. I also had no idea about Linux, but you have to make an effort to achieve something. You can not expect everything to be set to you. I would not call him greedy but you at most as lazy because you have not even read the last pages, otherwise you would have read why a Windows version does not currently come.

optiminer is a miner for Linux mxMiner is a miner for Windows Just download optiminer-equihash-2.1.2 : http://download.optiminer.pl/optiminer-equihash-2.1.2.tar.gzThen unzip it : tar -zxf optiminer-equihash-2.1.2.tar.gz You will have an optiminer-equihash directory. In this directory, edit mine_mnx.sh to change your pool (or mine on Suprnova) and your user. Execute this command to make this shell executable : chmod u+x mine_mnx.sh Then run this shell in a terminal : ./mine_mnx.sh If your are a newbie on Linux, you will have to learn some commands and concepts

optiminer is a miner for Linux mxMiner is a miner for Windows Just download optiminer-equihash-2.1.2 : http://download.optiminer.pl/optiminer-equihash-2.1.2.tar.gzThen unzip it : $ tar -zxf optiminer-equihash-2.1.2.tar.gz You will have an optiminer-equihash directory. In this directory, edit mine_mnx.sh to change your pool (or mine on Suprnova) and your user. Execute this command to make this shell executable : $ chmod u+x mine_mnx.sh Then run this shell in a terminal : $ ./mine_mnx.sh If your are a newbie on Linux, you will have to learn some commands and concepts Prompt please step by step, and how it can be started automatically at the system start, from the fact that I was prompted earlier did not help, or I could not with my weak knowledge. I have add a $ sign for each line that should be enter on a command line (you don't have to enter the $ sign of course). To start at boot, just add a line on your crontab : @reboot $HOME/optiminer-equihash-2.1.2/mine_mnx.sh To edit crontab, just type : $ crontab -e but after editing, saving file depend on which editor you use (vi, nano, ...) so you have to seach a little and pratice before. Tu check if your edition is good, you can enter this command to list the crontab : $ cronta -l

Earlier, I created a text file START, it introduced the main characteristics of mining, and in the future I run through ./START. Is your advice also suitable for my case?
