Hey Everyone, this may sound dumb but what stops a person from just cloning the high end mining machine and just hunt down the individual parts that make up, say the antminer s9? could you build something of that caliber on your own if you have know how of hardware?, is there an existing part list of antminer s9 out there? and is it cost effective to build your own miner from scratch or just purchase one?. please bare with me for I am a noob trying to L2P. Thanks

Greetings all,
I am newly registered in this forum. Been in reddit and twitter and actively engaged in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency since last July.
If anybody is thinking of selling their used-functional ASIC miners because they want to upgrade or else, included the WhatsMiner M3 that are being discussed here, please let me know. My friend and I would like to setup a small mining farm operation. We are located in Texas, US.
I am sorry if this thread is not the correct place to post this. It would be appreciated if you can redirect me to the right thread to post this inquiry.
Thanks and regards,

I would suggest you start a want to buy (= [ WTB] ) -thread in the forum marketplace. Here is the link to the right section, computer hardware: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

Hi. I`m new here. Just received whatsminer m3. It`s working fine with home internet and xiaomi mi router , but I want to place it in some place where`s no internet so i bought mobile internet router huawei e5186s-22a. The problem is that miner not connecting to internet through mobile internet router huawei e5186s-22a. Router working fine with any other device like laptop phone or ipad. Maybe somebody know`s the issue. It needs some port forwarding or something. Sorry for English it`s not my native. Thanks.

Temps are good IMO and it is working stable at about 11.6 Th/s hash rate.
Temps are about 80 to 85 Celsius.
No issues so far.

He spent a lot of time and his own money contributing something very beneficial to the community by doing this review. Thus letting us all know it is a legit company that actually produces a real product that works. He gave you the info, you just need to plug in your own variables like your local power cost. I don't think it would be too much for you to do your own homework and figure out whether this machine would be profitable you.

New to ASIC-based miners I take it? For a couple years now as general rule they prefer to run hot. 80C is actually rather low compared to Avalons or Bitemain's miners. They are typ 85-100C.

So you're saying the temps are OK? Yes we are both saying temps are ok, and at the low-end level where temps usually are with ASIC miners. I think that subject has been discussed plenty now. Please don't ask one more time if the temps are ok.
