I don't think that there is a minimum amount to start with but you can limit the amount of coin that you will have to buy

Yes, any amount from $50 can be used to start crypto trading, which matters most having trading adequate knowledge and never diverse your investment if you cant manage many coins. However, the best way to make quick funds with little capital is through futures trading just like the one introduced by Kucoin but people need to understand fundamental aspects of and the risk either.

I dont think there is a minimum amount for trading. But yeah, if you want to maximize your possible profit, invest a plenty amount of coin. But before you do that, you must have a good knowledge in trading so that the risk of losing your money will be lower.

It depends on your target.
If you wanna get high return monthly you should better to invest 100/200 at first.
But if you don’t have enough money its better to start with what you have at the moment. It doesn’t matter if you have 20$/30$. Just start the trading. You Won't earn big amount with this but you will learn a lot of knowledge thus will help help you when You'll make big moves.

minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH to start trading?

the ideal amount will depend on your goal. but this infographic regarding the budget rule might help you to consider your trading budget.
as on the infographic said, all those points may need to be considered. The exact percentages will depend on your monthly money.

the minimum amount to start trading?
again, it depends on the exchange market. normally, spot trading starts from $10 and contract trading starts from $5.
in my country, the local exchanges here allows us to trade as low as $0.7.

Depending on your target and also depending on your capital but as a newbie in Cryptocurrency always start with low fund, you can start with 10% of your funds. Cryptocurrency is not as easy as you hear it or as easy as you think it is lot's on people that don't know about cryptocurrency just think you will just buy a coin and after few hours you will be in profit already but cryptocurrency is not like that before you start trading self always as for advise from people that have been in it for long time and people that understand how it works. But as a beginner make sure you follow the following procedure..
Make sure you invest little of your capital.
Don't be greedy and always exit the market when you are already in a good profit.
Don't FOMO.
Don't borrow money to invest in any cryptocurrency.
Always make sure you do your own personal research before investing in any coin.
To avoid lost of your funds make sure you follow the listed rules above.

I recommend starting trading with a capital of 0.001 BTC. of course, with sufficient capital will get a lot of results too. But you also need to be careful in trading and always make your trading plan in order to minimize losses and maximize profits.
It's a good start with your 0.001 bitcoin but when your going to trade make sure that you have enough money to start or you can have some loan if you have a stable job where you can get money. To be honest you can't avoid loses the bigger you trade the bigger the profits of course opposite of losing too , If his going to trade now it will always depends on his profit target make sure to do a good research before risking his money but it always depends on the price on the market if you can see the dept in the market then good for him but everything you wanna learn about trading you can look em on internet join in groups watch youtube there are several good tutorials where i learned so much also you can learn from your mistake too just don't do what other's says follow your own gut.

again, it depends on the exchange market. normally, spot trading starts from $10 and contract trading starts from $5.

By this infographic, that means I am making 6x more money than I am making right now. I can't even cover all my needs with 100% of my salary time to time, of course there are times when I can cover it, most of the times I can, but I have never had one month in my life when I made enough money to pay for housing, foods, utilities, health care and insurance with "just" 50% of my salary, that never happened, it is always around 80% of my salary.

Sometimes 20% goes to savings, sometimes there is no 20% because I need to spend it on something urgent and a must, and yes sometimes 20% goes to savings, but I never had enough money to follow this chart in any point of my life and I have been working for over 10 years, and I am not even making tiny versus people in my nation, I make 2x of the minimum salary here. So, this infographic couldn't be any wrong to be quite honest.

If you have money that isnt going anywhere or isnt really a concern if it gets burned then start with that. Put an amount on btc or eth in which you are willing to lose just to gain some foothold of the crypto market.

If you are just starting out trading or want to start. I suggest that you place $50 in your wallet so that you can start trading. Get a feel for the market. Learn those patterns and how to detect them before hand. And $50 is just the right amount so that you still have that flexibility in the market. But don't be discouraged if you liquidated it. At least you've gain experience and that's maybe the most important attribute you need in trading, hell, In anything you want to do.

Don't try future's trading where you can get liquidated. A new person should always start with the spot trading. If you made few bad trades in the beginning, you will not get liquated. 50 -100$ is the right amount to start trading. If you are lucky enough, you can convert those 100$ to 1000$ or more.

you may need to start budgeting.
and make sure you can keep some for the emergency funds.

according to some references that I've read, we need an emergency fund to cover at least 3 to 6 months' worth of living expenses.
https://investor.vanguard.com/emergency-fund/amount

also, when we have a lot of expenses, the solution is not to retrench, but to have more income streams.
I believe this forum is one of your side hustle too.

What is the minimum amount required to trade? I will be happy to answer this question. I argue that this amount should not be too small, but it should not be too large. But you need to focus not on bitcoins or ethers, but on dollars. The minimum amount should not be much lower than your monthly income. Otherwise, the torvia becomes meaningless. You can get into a strong bull market, but if your deposit is too small, then you still do not achieve much. In fact, you are missing out on a tremendous opportunity.

I think that minimum amount to start trading must be no least than 100$, but better if you have more. It works like: more money you invest, more income you get. Sure you will have losses, especially if you make wrong short-time trades, but you will get grains also.

I can still remember when I started trading with minimum of $40k, that was making some investors to see me as a trader who is not ready to make profit. It take me some years to become a wealthy trader compared to those who started with big amount of money that took them one year to become the champion in the field.  when you start trading with small money dont expect you will start earning big profit instantly.  it will take you many years to earn good profit from that trade.

if you want trade altcoins start with $50 or $100 worth of btc or eth first, then as you trade you will probably the cycle and flow of the coins. you may learn new techniques and you can analyze graphs to gain profit. it is normal to lose some of $ as a newbie.

I don't suggest you to do daily trading if you have no knowledge and experience. I think you better to just simply buy (invest in) some coin then wait for few weeks until the price is higher than when you bought it. Buy cryptocurrency that already use in big community, coin like this usually has big probability to survive and the price will rise. For now I suggest you to wait until Bitcoin price little bit cheaper then you can buy it then wait for a moment. By this strategy usually I can get 30% profit aproximately, in special condition such halving time and etc usually I can get 300% to 400% profit. For the amount of coin, it is depend on your wealth. My suggestion is you can use 15% of your wealth to buy bitcoin.

Whats the best coin to start trading with?
Bitcoin. Trade it with fiat in the exchange that's probably supporting your local money. It's always the best coin to start, unlike any random altcoin that you see.
That's what I'm advising you if you're about to start trading. You can also do it with a pair of stable coins.
