This depends on how old you are and, most importantly, how much money you have saved up for your old age.  Would I recommend some 70-year old man to buy bitcoin with his pension check?  Hell, no!

Every single one of you, whether you can muster the words to so state, knows how risky bitcoin is.  And if you say it's not, you're either lying or sadly delusional.  If this 70-year old had money to play with, I'd say go for it.  But it's just like the knuckleheads on this forum who say they're going to commit suicide--if you're investing your food/rent/utility/etc. money, you shouldn't be playing in this or any other market.

It's a moot point anyway.  I seriously doubt there are many geratrics out there who either know about crypto or want to invest money in something as speculative as bitcoin.  It just ain't gonna happen.
Unless you're Warren Buffett, 86(?) years old and a financial genius with money to burn.  But he, like many other old folks, follows a paradigm of stock investing that isn't going to change.

What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

I think no, It is not too late for them to invest as long as there is someone that are guiding them and teaching them what to do. It can be hard for them sometimes so it is helpful to have a guide. If they are willing to invest then let them invest, nothing is too late.

All too late if you have not started yet, but surrender, nothing is too late even if you are old. Learn until you die, then you will know how vast the world is.

I think there's no age limit in investing in cryptocurrency. If needed, there are account managers or broker that can help them on when and where they can invest their money.

Yes. It is never too old or late to invest in cryptocurrency. As long as we can still manage and able to interact on cryptocurrency world and have enough  knowledge we should find no problem with it. The only question is this; How long an individual can survive? That is the most common weakness of some newbies in crypto community. Well for me, retired and living off pensioneers are perfect for this opportunity because they have savings for capital and investments into cryptocurrency but they still need to explore and gather more ideas. Though risky because of it's age but still they need their young love ones to know about the said investment for safety.

BIG WINNER!

I think not. You can invest in Bitcoins for their children and grandchildren.
Especially, recently there has been a large growth dynamics. According to this, you will be able to invest and for myself as well. Wink

This makes a lot of sense to me too. Bitcoin is surely climbing, and I wouldn't be surprised if it climbed to $100 000 in the future. A simple investment of $1000 now could mean the difference between a car or a bike in the future for many!

It's Never., Now Or Never, Even Thou You Are Already 99 and Then Tomorrow is Your Birthday As long as you Have The Amount of Money That You Are Going to Invest Then You Should Do it, if You Really Have The Passion Then Why Not? Age is Just A Number, Also Crypto is Just A Number, You Invest Huge Amount, You Earn Huge amount of  Profit. Cheesy

It's never too late for anything in life.
Everyone should keep trying.
Bitcoin and the crypto currency community is ever expanding and it seems that there is no reason for anyone not to join.

Its never too late to try on something. You can still make a handsome amount of money while investing in bitcoin.
I agree with your words. Cryptocurrency can always be e-invented. But in your time you can do a lot of things if you can invest or hold a good amount.
It’s never late to join bitcoin because bitcoin always give chance to everyone and you can use it any time any place so if are old and you did not join bitcoin so you can join bitcoin now and start a very good income from bitcoin I personally know a lot of old people who are using bitcoin and they are taking a very good profit from it.

It's never too late to do something new, and I'm engaged in bitcoin. I think it's at any age. I have friends who are much older than me and earn on it very well, although at first they thought the same way

Age means nothing. Older people might even have more money to invest and if they need more they should definitely buy sne Bitcoin now before everyone else buys. Be one of the first older people to buy in s other older people buy in after you and you make a good profit and never have to worry again. Bitcoin is for the young and the old. That is the beauty of Bitcoin. It is for everyone to enjoy and to enjoy together.

Good to hear there is interest regardless of age I'm glad. Keep spreading the good word that is Bitcoin.

Anyone related to personal finance would never recommend an elderly person invest their retirement funds in high-risk investments. In any case, if the person wishes to invest, it is recommended to only devote a fraction of their capital in such volatile instruments as in this case, the bitcoin, because in case of any eventual fall in the price it would be more difficult for him or her to wait for enough time to its eventual recovery.

Well i believe that it is not really tolate to inveat in cryptos as long as theres a life theres a hope .Maybe people around will say everything is too late for and old person to invest but that thoughts is really verry inconvenience we cannot judge everyone if tbey want to do things that are really profitable maybe an old person has a lot of experience and they can get more refference about thier life experience to be used upon working on this present time around.
