I'm thinking of acquiring some ripple but i need to know if it's a short term investment or long term.
Coz i have been following the market trend and I've not seen a steady increase for the past few weeks.
So, is it for long term or short term?
Coz to me it seems the coin has some potential.

I also feel ripple has a good potential for the future, and I think because ripple has a fairly stable price it will be more suitable for long-term investment.

I don't agree honestly. It has some potential but it's centralized then why the hell shall I invest my money in there? The team will spend it that's beacuse. Only for short term trades, for me.

Ripple is a good coin for long term investment. It will give you decent returns if your investment horizon is more then 2 years. I also have this coin in my p portfolio as long term investment.

I do believe that Ripple is a long-term investments. Ripple is an uprising crypto-currency player and can be the main rival of Ethereum and soon will be pumped hard like Bitcoin Cash. Kudos to the team of Ripple.

I'm thinking of acquiring some ripple but i need to know if it's a short term investment or long term.
Coz i have been following the market trend and I've not seen a steady increase for the past few weeks.
So, is it for long term or short term?
Coz to me it seems the coin has some potential.

For me, i personally think that ripple isn't really going to be valued as much in the future than right now. It's barely in the top 5 coins right now even though previously at the peak of its pump, it has been #2 for a day.

It's more centralized than most coins out there, and i don't think that cryptos are moving into the direction of more centralization.

In fact probably the exact opposite. I would invest only if you see a short term opportunity.

More centralized ? Ya think ?
When they want to move up in the cap standings they pump it then "release" more coins.
And the Ripple "team" will tell you that the coins *YOU* are buying have nothing to do with banks.
YOU are buying them.. not banks  Roll Eyes

It's like the never ending stream of lies and bullshit about Ethereum.
Everyone in crypto was running around saying IBM was "using" Ethereum.
Which had no link or relation to any coins *YOU* all were buying on Poloniex etc.
Then they went on spamming the entire scene with Microsoft is 'using" Ethereum.
And once again it was pure raw deceit.
Turns out MS added support for it with Azure like they do with pretty much anything on their hosting service thingy.
Pay your monthly bill and you can put porn on there.. so i guess they support that too huh ? Better buy sex coin investards  Cheesy
When that MS crap started going around i have it logged on IRC, i said you watch people all the other shit coin idiot scammer dev's will dog pile on the idea and badda bing BAM bingo they too started their own topics here proclaiming Microsoft now supports their coin too HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA

I had to say it on IRC too because the scammy loser staff at Poloniex banned me for posting what i said above.
Or for simply asking questions.. which they deemed "trolling".
I told them they are once again grooming their victims.
They go out of their way to allow people to lie their ass off to idiot "investors".
If you challenge the claims you will be booted and banned.
Never get in the way with a predator and his victims he is grooming.

How can i stress to you all how much smarter i am than all of you ?
What will it take to get it through your noob heads ?

Fraud.. it's hard to understand such a complicated issue isn't it ?

EDIT:

I want to point out i got lippy with Poloniex after they said they were booting me or on other occasions.
So no.. don't think they booted me because i was saying what i said above.
I am smart so i am on my best behavior all the time and following the rules.
Services like Poloniex know me well and are hovering over the ban button all the time.
I know this because they admitted it..
For example: I criticized some long forgotten and dead delisted coin they all on the Poloniex chat box were saying it has a grandiose future.. i was simply asking questions.
The coin ? What was Truck Coin ported over into HYP coin.. a high stake scam coin by KNOWN scammers connected with Monero.. and Poloniex staff of course.
Point being was as soon as i started asking questions about high stake POS coin workings with HYP i noticed a lot of people flood in quick.
The chat room morphed into a lynch mob where they all started coming after me personally and of course.....
Screaming i was a troll WHILE INSULTING ME.
I simply sat there silently and took it.
If Polonibox.com is still up the proof of this is there logged. (or i might have it saved to a text file still)
So.. what happened *that time ?
The arrogant prick douche staffers at Poloniex then warned me.
I said for what all these guys are lining up to attack me and i sat here taking it all.
What did he say ?
He told me word for word on chat that, I DESERVED IT. (Hinting at my reputation)
I said what the hell did you just say to me buddy ?
I said BULL SHIT !
I demanded an apology on the spot pronto !

I FUCKING GOT IT !

All i did was ask a couple questions.. respectfully with out being a jerk or anything.
Problem is crypto is full of worthless sacks of scammy shit.
GROOMING THEIR VICTIMS.

Asking questions in crypto is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE no no.
Don't ever, EVER.. EVER do that or you will be branded a troll .. for life !
Black listed by the huge massive crowd that are in collusion here in the giant shit coin machine.
Where all the dev's and the pools and the miner makers and the chat room staff etc etc etc are in 100% collusion together.
How the fuck do you think these guys get their coins listed so fast ?
I also have seen proof some exchanges actually make the coins.. since the year 2013.

I hope you noobs piling in here realize was is going on.. and.. what you are supporting.
Things are not what they seem to be on the surface.. there is much more going on than you'd possibly ever imagine.

There was a time when people dreamed and discussed if a coin could ever reach a dollar.
Now all of them are worth $200 or $300 or $400 or $6,000.00
Can you comprehend what that means ?

Foaming at the mouth frenzied greed.
Blood is in the water and the crypto scammer sharks are feeding like crazy.
And they are not going anywhere once they get a taste.

Music to their ears that all the new people showing up have no concept of morality.
They absolutely fucking love it that they can launch infinite amounts of new coins all rigged to make them a fortune.
And YOU ALL play along for the chump change you get for being co-opted into perpetuating these scammy ponzi scheme coins.

Summary: Crypto is dead, it died many years ago.

I've had so many threats i lost count.. such as Legal or death threats or assault.
I've had trolling and harassment and people trash on my rating here.
I've been the whipping post on any and all chat mediums.. Such as insta-banned on the Monero IRC channel as soon as i got there.
All so the scammy assholes making these coins can keep making more and getting dope heads to buy them.

I think ripple is very suitable in long-term investment, because ripple is a coin that has a high volume and can be said to be a fairly stable coin. you should invest for a period of several months or even years.

It's a long term investment. I have been holding it for quiet a while now and its been stable but it has not provided any huge gains for the short run.
I am really surprised at a whole lot of people saying this. What else do you expect from a controlled coin? You guys keep saying long term investment for a coin that can get you burnt. XRP is mainly for short term trades for me as far as I am concerned.

Set your sell order for a huge pump, if you like buy back when it is low and keep repeating the same thing with your stop loss on. I would not want to even put so much in trading this coin. Read about XRP and you will know why.

Ripple is long term. I can easily picture a news article one day saying Ripple is has signed an agreement with 7 top banks for remittance payments, the price would explode.

You can take benefits from short term fluctuations and make quick profits but if you are aiming huge profits then you should hold it for a long term.

I hold bitcoin because I can't afford to sell this at a loss. I bough XRP at around 15ksatoshi so this is why I hold it for long term goals, though i really doubt because it is centralized but I have to hold to save my money. Hopefully XRP can bring my money back in the future.

With the Ripple, my advice is to invest in the long-term, as I also monitor ripple operations and realize that the cryptos are very potent in practice when linked to many of the world's banks to cooperate with banks help speed up the transaction up to 10 times compared with the current time. So over the next 3 years, the Ripple will be very potent, and it will be possible to overwhelm Ethererum to become the largest crypto in the cryptocurrencies market.

Ripple is definitely a long term hold. The potential and technology are there, it just needs to be adopted more by the world's financial sector.

I could write an essay about why I believe in it, but my main reason is because of the technology that is there. Moreover, the fact that it is more of a centralized cryptocurrency means a lot. Understand that a lot of cryptoers do not like XRP simply because of its centralization.

Long term hold it. Buy it and forget it for a year.

I think the Ripple is a long term investment.Because due to ripple market price its fluctuate for time to time.I guess in future the ripple coin might be get a higher value therefore we should keep it for long term till come for the value.

Ripple is the highly misunderstood cryptocurrency. Ripple as a company has huge potential but XRP as a cryptocurrency isn't a good long term investment. XRP must be preferred for short term investment like buying on rumors and selling on news. In long term because of huge supply that company releases periodically, it becomes inflationary and hence a not preferred investment choice.

Ripple is great coin, basically a long term coin in my opinion
this coin is fit for who can't watch or monitoring the market for a couple minute, hours, even all day.
