to get a lot of bitcoin cash and to dump bitcoin price..
i dont get it. if roger ver is holding that much bitcoin. he will be the first person smiling if bitcoin price are high as ATH as always,
buy why is he risking all his bitcoin to promote bitcoin cash? is it greed? or pride? or that he is really trying to continue the real bitcoin with bitcoin cash.?
thoughts anyone..

It's chess, not checkers. Big game started long time ago. It is not just Roger Ver, it is company Roger, Jihan, miners etc. They playing big, expensive and dirty games. And obviously we don't really know all the bitcoin addresses involved in it. I hold bitcoin and will buy more when cheaper.

Just a little correction, it's not 250K worth of bitcoins. It is 24.9k bitcoins worth few hundred million USD. Below is the link of the transaction and the transaction is still unconfirmed. https://blockchain.info/address/14KsG6hxkM3cGGC4DvyEdf8uytoE7x9WRQIf he dumps this many bitcoins, it will definitely have a negative impact on bitcoin price so even I am confused with his intention. I will keep watching his tweets and recent price trends to understand what it leads to but it makes no sense unless he wants to buy a new yacht and a private jet for himself. |

No. He will not dump his Bitcoin. He is not stupid and he knows that this would be the worse possible move.
If he has the money and can show it here and there, spreading FUD, making people and pools play the game as he wants it.. that could make them build up even more wealth - Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. And he will be also certain that whatever happens with any of the coins he will not lose.

A dirty politics is going on.
Roger Ver and Jihan Wu is playing nicely with market sentiments. Crypto community consist of many noob traders who are usually following others and their signals. There are many big names behind this BCH pump who have invested enough to make people believe their claim that BCH is now a new Bitcoin. I don't understand if they really have a better coin, why they need Bitcoin's name for making it popular. Anyways, the trust bitcoin has isn't replaceable at all by any altcoin right now. This all is mere a pump attempt and soon these whales gonna dump it hard on the market followers.
BTC is at some other position in crypto market hard to be replaced by any shit coin. These big names are controlling the BCH market completely. Shifting to BCH wouldn't be more than entering a centralized market. This is exactly what community don't want and will definitely not happen.

It's just a fake agenda. If someone dumps that much of BTC and buys BitcoinCash then most of the BitcoinCash holders will dump, looking at the price. I think it's highly unlikely for this to become true.

Roger Ver.. the man who was banned from the USA, feared in Russia, became rich selling explosives to terrorists via deep web and is now living the AnCap dream in Japan.
Definitely adds another page in the cryptocurrencies history with this move.. let's see what happens but I'd be surprised if him and his Korean partners are enough to completely revolutionize the world at this stage. And interestingly Ver and Jihan Wu vote oppositely in regards to segwit 2x.

But those 250k could move bitcoin cash value, maybe more than $10 or at least $15, it is not much money but everything makes sound if we talk about bitcoin cash.
I dont know what is his real point, maybe he wants to destroy bitcoin, and he is actually doing it , but what the hell, why did he wanted to do this JUST now??

The amount of bitcoins he plans to sell actually amounts to almost 150 Million USD. I'm pretty sure that if he sells all the coins, bitcoin prices will crash and bitcoin cash prices will rise. To me, this is an elaborate pump and dump, hype that he will generate by buying that amount of bitcoin cash will skyrocket the price of the currency, he will then sell it at a profit for much more bitcoin than he bought it for in the first place. I'm really interested in seeing if one person can dictate the price of bitcoin. |

Core version of btc coin is not working. Insane fees, Insane time to complete transactions , Price per coin drop $1500 in 2 days Roger Smart guy, he can see core version is dying He move to Bitcoin Cash Low Fees, Fast transactions, Price per coin increasing , Works Great! I couldn't agree more. This is such a big conspiracy that has been in the making for a while, probably 2x is always a decoy. BCH is always the end game. Roger Ver probably want to make BCH the fiat of this own country. |

Think about it, If he sold 1,000 bitcoin while it was on $7,200 that is $7.2 Million and converted everything to BCH which was around $600 each during that time he can own 12,000 BCH and at this time its value is $17 million even if he convert it back to BTC at this time he already earned a lot since he can buy roughly 3,000 bitcoin at its current price. So is Roger Ver really supporting BCH? Is he really loosing whenever BTC's price are dumping? the answer is a big no no. So if you own BTC don't be fooled by this kind of people. |

I think, it is part of one big game. He tries to manipulate the market of cryptocurrencies, perhaps, checks as far as the market is steady against manipulations. And now, its actions are very similar on intercurrency trade with two opposite movements of currencies in the market. He intentionally sells bitcoin for the purpose of dump, at the same time locking in profits. All got profit invests directly in BitcoinCash to create an agiotage, thereby entices newbies into currency with mad growth. I think as soon as capitalization BitcoinCash reaches the necessary size, Roger will begin to lock directly in profits in this currency. In my opinion, the return moving of assets to bitcoin will follow after that. |
